ipadakop tanan surplus cars, not assembled parts....

pwde ra ghapon mg import ug parts-by-parts nya diri lang assemble like jeepneys ky if this is applicable to all

    no more PUV's
    no more multicabs

so means less # of vehicles in the road, less traffic, less funds nga makuha sa LTO ug LTFRB ky gamay rmn ang mg renew

mo.ambit lang ko ha sa gpost sa usa nato ka higala diri....

surplus vehicles does not necessarily mean na problemado ang engine... especially gkan japan or maskin asa... kaning mga sakyanana ni agi ni ug brand new or tanan jud sakyanan... infact some of these vehicles still has minimal odo reading nadasmag lang cguro...

ang sakyanan gud migo... maskin usa ra na tan.awon or compact.... pero there are several circuitry and mechanisms involved thus creating a union of different cycles/movements to function as one... an electric power steering or even a hydraulic type does not need gas to function however since the engine through its alternator or charging system charges and retains power through the battery... thus activating the electric power steering ofcourse it has to pass all the sensors/ciruitry... and for the hydraulic type just like the alternator and the compressor i think that is a common knowledge... so the point is not all surplus vehicles have problems with the engine... wala gani ta kahibaw nadasmagan sa luyo ra mao na gsurplus derecho....

infact naa koy kaila na honda civic hatch... til karon mas nindot pa ug andar... you can even see water coming out from its pipe... wala jud baho.... 96 model pa na ha.... surplus pa jud....

its never the engine/car/vehicles fault... its the owner... daghang tag.iya na igo ra mosakay.. maskin locally bought na sakyanan pero kung ang tag.iya... modrive lang kay modagan pa man.... mabilin ka jud sa dalan...

and about this executive order... ni.exist lang jud ni simply because naay na alakansi... ana lang jud ka simple....

surplus vehicles ako gpasabot here are those sold/shipped as a unit jud ha... dili g.assemble.... hino.on makina or ang pollution raman ang concern sa atong migo....

pero kadtong g.assemble... another story... but still dili ghapon sala sa sakyanan... sala na sa nagassemble ug nganong g.shortcut mao na daghan mo paltos...

    peace....

According to the LTO7 facebook site, it is only effective for surplus cars imported into the country from December 6, 2007 onwards. So those brought before the said date can still be renewed. (*breathes a sigh of relief since my car was imported way back 2006)

    The Supreme Court... | Facebook

    Rant-mode:

But still, how come the consumers are the ones paying for the blunder of the different gov't agencies which allowed the registration and importation of the said units in the first place? And got them LEGALLY REGISTERED with LEGAL government documents, mind you. And we are not talking one or two units but thousands.

So shouldn't we nip the problem at the source instead of always doing the "quick fix" method of solving things?
