    "smartphones" don't NEED removable battery.

but for some of us who are power users (people who actually use them for their smartphone capabilities and NOT mere fashionable toys) and who don't change phones every year, everytime a new one comes out, a removable battery goes a LONG, LONG way

Im curious with this phone's "stamina mode" feature..usa ni sa ilang gipanghambog pag CES..will it really make a difference sa iyang battery life? If yes, then ok ra nonremovable ang battery.

stamina mode will only work when the phone is asleep, how bout when were actually using the phone?

One thing, All smart phones are power consuming. Specially the bigger screen. Given fact naman na dali ra gyud ma drain ang bat if you use it regularly. Even akong DSLR ug mga laptop same thing sad. So maybe the best way is to enjoy the technology. Pero mas pabor ug replaceable battery kay anytime pwedi ra nimo mailisan ug practical pud. . . I think Samsung won that part. Traydor kaayu sa?haha

Siguro in business side mao dili replaceable bat ang uban para papalitun napud kag bag-o.LOL Remember! Battery has a life! one day it will run out and weakened.

Trust me. I am a power user. In fact, "power user" and "don't change phones every year" are two things that don't really come hand in hand. Power users I know are in fact those who change phones a lot more than every year. I change phones every three months and have four lines. Yet I don't use phones as a fashionable toy. So if you are not one of those, you really aren't a power user. If you have to look at a phone and decide which phone you are going to use for the next two years, you are not a power user.

But the fact remains, phones are not marketed and made for the power user, they are made to succeed in the market and the market says phones don't need a removable battery. I have four relatively new phones sitting in front of me and they are arguably for "power" users, the Note 2, Droid DNA, Lumia 920 and Nexus 4. Only the Note 2 has a removable battery so obviously "power" users are learning to live with a non-removable battery. If you truly are a power user, you'd have a charger everywhere you go. I have a car charger, a charger in the office, two at home, a Qi charger at home and an external power pack.

How about we stop talking about "power user" this and "power user" that. The direction of the market is clear and as a power user, you should know how to adjust to it if you are going to get the latest handsets, otherwise you can go with an under-powered and old handset ... then you truly won't be able to consider yourself a power user.
