Red photons travel through the earth's atmosphere relatively unimpeded, because of their relatively long wavelengths. Blue photons however, kay shorter man ang ilang wavelengths, bump around, scattered by the molecules of air in our atmosphere. by the time they reach your eye, they appear to be coming from everywhere in the sky, and thus making the sky appear blue. sa ako ma-remember same thing happens when you put a small amount of powdered milk in a clear pitcher of water enough to make it a little murky then shine a bright white light through it. the water will appear to have a tinge of blue since ang blue light particles kay mag-bounce2 sa una sa powdered milk particles sa water. hehehe
