if there is a three way tie, the #2 spot will be determined by the points system. If still tied, points ratio. In case ADMU, UST & AdU gets tied for 2nd place, ADMU has the highest chance of getting 2nd seed. Even if ADMU loses in 3 sets, they will have 26 points and will have higher points ratio. For ADMU to slide down to #3, UST has to beat them in 3 sets and with the most of 10 points per set. As per Mr Otie Camangian, UAAP Commissioner...

Tie-break possibilities c/o Prokorpyo
1. Two-way tie for 2nd between admu and Ust.
Tie-break: playoff game for 2nd place (virtual best-of-three F4)
2. Three-way tie for 2nd between admu, Adu and Ust.
Tie-break: playoff game for 2nd place (virtual best-of-three F4) between the two teams with the highest ranking point/quotient. The team with the lowest ranking point/quotient takes 4th place and meet DLSU in the F4.
In this scenario, admu is already assured of a playoff berth because of superior ranking point.
A 3- or 4-setter win by Adu gives them the other berth.
3. Two-way tie for 3rd between Adu and Ust.
Tie-break: the team with a higher ranking point/quotient takes 3rd place.
4. Three-way tie for 3rd between Nu, Adu, Ust.
Tie-break: the team with the highest ranking point/quotient--Nu in this scenario--takes 3rd place to face admu. The playoff between the other two teams--Adu and Ust--determines the 4th placer.
5. Two-way tie for 4th (Ust-Nu/Adu-Nu).
Tie-break: playoff game for 4th.
