its normal for young dogs to look for something to bite...what I would do before on my pups is hold the upper wall of their mouth and they wouldn't close their jaw anymore to lock in the bite...pero i'd give them something to chew...or maybe you just haven't given them any playtime...all young dogs needs to play...their mouth serves as their hand so keep this in mind, its up to the owner to manage and train them not to bite...if di na jud mada...then better look for an obedience trainer...
it's better if you can solve your problem without using too much force sir. remember that dogs do not think like children do, so shouting "NO" will not scare your dog into submission, but create noise that will trigger more excitement. hehehe. so just try to be calm and erase the image of your puppy biting you so that you will not be projecting any feelings of fear or anxiety (w/c your pup will react to).
some people say that they "discipline" their dogs by hitting them but this is not the way to do it, because you will encourage your dog to fight back and be more aggressive than you are in order to win. so, just ignore her when she bites. when she starts to settle down, give her a lot of attention. you can give her positive reinforcement by giving treats or toys when she is calm.
also, never hold her back because her instincts will make her move forward even more. just block her and wait until she calms down. you can train her by keeping her on a leash for 5 minutes and doing the exercise of making her calm.don't train too long because she will get tired & frustrated
also, some things that will help:
1. take her for a walk every MORNING. 30-45 mins. and while on the walk, ask her to obey you. don't let her pull you around. you should guide her on the walk. it will be difficult for a long time but your patience will pay off
2. buy her some rawhide bones or any safe chew bones. she is a puppy so her gums are itchy hehe
3. just remember that no matter how much you love your dog, she is a dog (and not a child or a person) and the only way to communicate to her is by acting in an assertive manner
goodluck with your dog!
(we are still struggling as well hahaha!)
