That would be nice because BRAND NEW UNITS are better in terms of maintenance and you will end up pa saving money in the long run plus naa pa warranty .

Between a HONDA and a TOYOTA na brand ? Depends na siya sa preference pero durability and availability of parts , mas maka tipid ka sa TOYOTA but if brand new ang foundation nimo , you wuold worry lang after 5 years later pa ana most likely.

    same delima here...

except brand new.. second hand lng jud ko or surplus.. hapit nko unta maka decide nga surplus.. then the negative comments overturned my decision..

mao local unit ako g pangita ka run.. secondhand unit but local para atleast medyo mas sure..

anyway.. take your time to pick lng jud.. the more hasty it is i guess the more at risk you are.. ako cge lng lakaw all over cebu mandaue para lang gyud mag tanaw mga shop.. hehehe

    hope naa ko natabang...

Kung Honda, pricey iya parts and maintenance compare sa Toyota. Samut na ang Chevrolet ug Mazda.
Kung mag pick-up sad ka... kung mag cge kag dala ug bugas or mga tag-as na mga cabinet, mas maau jud cya... Downside sa mga pick-up, if you are just driving within the city, wa jud gamit ang imu back trunk. Maypa mag Pajero nlng ka or CRV. Kung everyday, 5 and up persons ang musakay dha, Saloon-type nlng or kanang mga Pajero.

If I have 200-300k, ad2 ko sa 2nd-hand local models.
If 500k, brand new base units nlng.

I saw a thread here nga ni inform nga ang Honda Fit dili daw pwede ma register sa LTO? I'm not sure. But maybe dili ka mka buy ug Fit TS. Try daw sa Kia TS. And nice na advice nila nga pickup. Toyota is nice and dili mahal like Honda.

Multicab?

financially speaking, its better if you can find low-mileage na secondhand vehicle since a brandnew car depreciates by 30 percent as soon as it leaves the dealership. buying brandnew does not always mean it is going to be hassle-free. the brand itself means a lot. Frankly put, stay away from the following: Chery QQ or anything with Chery, Shen-long or any purely made in China vehicle. They are not safe in terms of protective features and structural integrity.

look for those 1- to 5-year old vehicles. Maximum na ang 10 years old na second hand para medyo on the safe side ka. I would discourage you from surplus units since most of the time daghan problem although you can get lucky, but still its better safe than lucky, hehehe.

you would have to be really really meticulous and need a really good mechanic to go with you upon checking the unit. Also make sure nga personal friend or trustworthy ang imu mechanic ky naa ra ba mekaniko nga paliton sa mga namaligya, meaning they will pay your mechanic para mo ingon na okay bisan naay problema.

when buying second hand units, another factor to consider nowadays is be wary of where the seller is from kung dili ba prone to flooding iya lugar ky naa possibility nga ni agi ug flooding ang iya gi baligya na vehicle. Once a vehicle has been flooded, it is good as junk ky sigurado jud na mo breakdown soon enough. In the US and Europe, a flooded vehicle cannot be insured and is marked for scrapping.

you also need to consider ang seating capacity and power sa sakyanan. pickups are great all-around vehicles that will last a lifetime, downside is IF more than 4 people imu passenger ky luoy ang mo sakay sa open cab sa likod. SUVs are great but pricey, downside is you are somewhat limited in terms of vertical cargo space compared sa pickups. sedans are economical but limited ka sa cargo space. subcompacts are super economical and really easy to drive pero limited na jud kaayo ka in terms of passenger and cargo.

based on what I have understood from what you have stated in your post, I would suggest you get a minivan or wagon-type, or MPV like the Suzuki APV, Nissan Grand Livina, or Hyundai Tucson. The reason nga wagon ako suggest since murag hilig mo ug family trips and still want some enclosed cargo space with enough power to climb small hills.

don't forget to fasten your seatbelt hope that helps

Naay unit dri for sale, here are the specs:

2003-2004 Honda Accord 2.0 or 2.4 liter AT (not sure sa displacement pa so either nila)
    all power
    front wheel drive
Professional-driven, Usa ka medical doctor ug lawyer (manag-tiayon) so dili tantong bugbog siguro
Exterior is good, normal wear lang relative sa iyang age, ang finish sa makina hinuon murag naay corrosion ang alloy parts but okey lang man.
Ok sa power, walay kagul-kol,smooth steering
Interior is awesome since mga well-off tag-iya natural ra jud na wear

The specs alone is WAY BETTER THAN any sedan karon and mid-sized sedans and waaaaay better that any subcompact when it comes to power.

    So unsa man guys.

    offer is 200k. cheap

@Butitor the Honda Accord is a certified gas guzzler in our standards here in the Philippines. If that will be your everyday car then expect a fuel budget of at least P9,000 a month with a modest daily consumption of 6 liters. At the average FC of 5 to 6km/L, you can only get as far as 30kms per day. Kanang imo Accord maglisod na sa bukid because of its low ground clearance and its suspension designed for paved roads and ultimate comfort, not for offroading.

If your average number of passengers daily is only 2-4, then mag pickup truck ka nalang..

As far as the price and your observation na slightly used palang, barato na and sulit kaayo ang Accord.
