Again .... these are all sourced out from stories / claims / points / statements you would only want to hear . Still HATRED for me . Indeed a bad word .

these people are in a better position to help but instead they want people help the other people....
If I have to elaborate more on what you said , would it be like this ?

THE CHURCH HAS ALL THE RESOURCES BECAUSE THEY ARE RICH AND IN THE RIGHT POSITION TO HELP SOLVE THE PROBLEM BUT THEY RELY AND HIDE IN OTHER PEOPLE'S ACTIONS TO AVOID RESPONSIBILITY

    Sakto ba ?

i do know from an "article" about the dinero's of the church being invested in banks...
Thats it ? You are not even halfway there , you dont even know if I start talking about power struggle in the Vatican . Mao ra na ? Kana bank accounts/money laundering / etc .... sinsiyo ra kaayo na storyaha part , there is more to it kay lage , we only want to hear and know stories that suits us . Still you dont know jackshit and it is really sad that you throw such statements that are too believable when in fact , storbot lang diay. Hey , at least it is something I cant take away from you but the least I can do is let you know about it.

is it bad to say "touché"?
Hehehehe .... imo pa gyud ko gipa research unsay meaning ana , well nothing is wrong actually .... OPINIONS are OPINIONS .... as long as it is not founded on being " IGNANT" . I search pod na siya.

anyway, on topic, what is it with "declined to comment" when asked?
is this the time they take up to talk about the "moves"?
Again .... you can speculate all you want . Heck I even speculated too . But commonsense tells us that issues as sensitive and critical as this , a careful study and review , investigation , research should be conducted . You cant just say something specially if you are not authorized or in the position to speak in behalf. Wala diay ka kahibalo ana kay ga una man ang duda nimo ?

We have to hold our horses and follow investigations . It does not indicate at all that the hospital or healthcare was OPERATED and SOLELY OWNED by the DIOCESE , it could be a privately owned by individuals who also wants to get away with lawsuits. And there , a loophole was sighted and ang state gi luto sa kaugalingon mantika . Does that make the RCC like that if the case is mao gyud na ang nahitabo ? Definitley not but you already said something about being a HYPOCRITE .

Problema man gud sa kadaghanan and the following I have seen here in the forums lately , anything under the sun that caters issues that directly or indirectly involves the RCC , pwerting lagsika ninyo but then , wala man sense because partial man and halfbaked ang sentiments . It does not at all justify anything but then pwerting naka persecute na . Hey at least ... its not bloody like being fed to the lions , kaso naay usa diri , ganahan siya mag SANDY HOOK pod . Tsk tsk tsk .
There's no need for more investigations kay nahoman na man ang kaso sa court . Maski unsaon pa ug tan-aw , hypokrito kaayo labi na ang argument nga "fetus not yet a person" inorder to get away from a wrongful-death suit . Naka daog man gani . So no need to follow investigations .

Money was on the line , ming usab na ang ilang tono . It's as simple as that . They're hypocrites .

The lead defendant in the case is Catholic Health Initiatives, the Englewood-based nonprofit that runs St. Thomas More Hospital as well as roughly 170 other health facilities in 17 states. Last year, the hospital chain reported national assets of $15 billion. The organization’s mission, according to its promotional literature, is to “nurture the healing ministry of the Church” and to be guided by “fidelity to the Gospel.” Toward those ends, Catholic Health facilities seek to follow the Ethical and Religious Directives of the Catholic Church authored by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Those rules have stirred controversy for decades, mainly for forbidding non-natural birth control and abortions. “Catholic health care ministry witnesses to the sanctity of life ‘from the moment of conception until death,’” the directives state. “The Church’s defense of life encompasses the unborn.”

This would probably be construed as another ATTACK but what the heck!

Every time one questions or comments anything AGAINST the Church, people claim that they do not know the whole story so we should postpone judgement..

I think its cowardice hiding behind that argument. It's cowardice and it's laughable.

    Hypocrisy at its finest!!

I'm not even gonna add insult to injury here. Mura'g wa jud defense ang Church ani..

Aw, naa d.i.. Ang "you-don't-know-the-whole-story-defense"... Hahahaha..

FETUS NOT YET A PERSON was a statement of the defense, not of the CATHOLIC CHURCH . You should know that even from basing it sa article. Mao bitaw a review has to be seen by the BISHOPS in that state because they see something wrong sa ongoing stand . Karon mo sulti mo ug NO NEED TO FOLLOW INVESTIGATIONS , reklamo man gihapon mo . Nakaparat ninyo , abi kay naa word na CATHOLIC , associate dayon sa ROMAN CATHOLIC CHUbRCH .

Just taker a look at this statement from the article , "The lead defendant in the case is Catholic Health Initiatives, the Englewood-based nonprofit that runs St. Thomas More Hospital".

Money was on the line , ming usab na ang ilang tono . It's as simple as that . They're hypocrites .
Kung hypocrite pa sila , walay gi consider unta na follow up investigation/review . Liman ka ug na husgahan na gud pero ngano naay attempt man sa BISHOPS of that state ?

Pero have you questioned yourself if we follow the agenda of the report ?

    - What was the cause of the death of the wife that led to the death of the unborn child ?
    - Why was it not reported the cause of the medical malpractice when the " victim " was suing for medical malpractice?
    - Why is there a reason to divulge such financial revenue that easy and not able to provide the reason of the malpractice ?
    - Who are these people behind the CATHOLIC Health Initiatives ?

Pero what we did , after seeing words na BISHOP , CATHOLIC and the likes ..... we can easily say HYPORCITES without even knowing the core. In my book , it is HATRED . We should be careful when we label such adjectives if it is baseless.

Wala ba gyud ni enter sa inyong huna huna na , kaning lalaki unsay tuyo niya ? Have it cross in your minds na basin NANGWARTA lang ni siya ? I am sure not because kay naa pa , you would reserve the word HYPOCRITES kay kitang tanan HIPOKRITO man ta regardless of the nature .

    @KIT_CEBU ...

@redemption32 - you'll probably be awarded the "defeat" sign on that last post of yours...

At least , you acknowledged your HATRED to the CHURCH. I appreciate your HONESTY .

    @REDEMPTION32 ...

This would probably be construed as another ATTACK but what the heck!
It is only a speculation on your part bai.

Every time one questions or comments anything AGAINST the Church, people claim that they do not know the whole story so we should postpone judgement..
True to that . Do you know the whole story ? If we make patterns here , you can clearly see my replies as NEUTRAL and LOOKING for ANGLES. Pero imoha ? Wala man .... kung sa babay pa ..... walay brake ang ba^ba^ .

I think its cowardice hiding behind that argument. It's cowardice and it's laughable.

    Hypocrisy at its finest!!
Not in all of the scenarios where assumptions and conclusions are only reserved that suits your expectations. It doesnt work like that bai. BIAS tawag ana in short . Naka adto naka sa US or for that matter the WESTERN WORLD and live to know how the system works ?

I'm not even gonna add insult to injury here. Mura'g wa jud defense ang Church ani..
If ma proven na ang CHURCH , the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH to be specific are involved in the process of how the hospital works then you can safely say na walay defense ang simbahan , for the moment , save it for the best bai , you might not really need it as a faithful/thesist or believer but it will be part of the process in the ongoing maturity of our understanding on things and the reasoning behind it.

Aw, naa d.i.. Ang "you-don't-know-the-whole-story-defense"... Hahahaha..
If we limit this as a form that makes it funny to look at , then so be it. Like I said , wala ko nakabalo sa storya , ikaw nakahibalo ka ? I am sure wala man pod because we are all in this thread for the article only and nothing else. Pero if its something outside ana , remember what I told you about HATRED on the other thread ?

    OT @KIT_CEBU ...

You have to understand that in forums/debates/real world , it is not a matter of who wins and who loses. I dont even know why the word DEFEAT was brought up but then I would understand kay mao man tuyo nimo.

What matters most is who holds the TRUTH and who holds the LIES and DECIETS. Sa pagkakaron , wala pa na nato na distinguish kay incomplete man ang report, but then if itandi nimo na sa isa ka gubat/war/battle .... dili pirme ang ga kupot sa TRUTH ang WINNER and dili tanan LIES and DECIET kay ang LOSER.

I do hope nakasabot ka ana kay diha man nimo ma differentiate ang OPINION sa GIVEN FACTS ug kadtong gi ingon nako na " IGNANT " mo enter pod to. Imo ba to gi research unsay meaning kay slang man to.
