Being poor is not the objective of the Church but it's the choice of each and every one of us to be poor. If I were to choose, I'd rather choose to be rich and look for ways to be out of hardship. Church didn't teach you to be poor. But these people (not the Church) behind the curtain has something to do that makes us poor and poorer. Ask yourself on why there are lots of poor people, why our wages is too low as compared to other neighboring countries. Why is it that we have a low purchasing power? In Singapore, a cook can buy a LED TV in his/her one (1) month salary and can still even remit money to Philippines while our cook here in the Philippine takes how many months to buy a LED TV.

Why is it the prices on basic commodities are keep on high and the fuel price is also up. Standard of living in the Philippines is very low and these people blaming it to population. Ahhh that's bullshit.
