i do believe in destiny. i believe that before we are born, we already have specific role in life to perform. like in love, if you love someone, set her free. if she comes back, then she is yours. you too are destined to be together.

nope.
i make or break my life.
unfair kaayo (and unreasonable and unrealistic) nang concept of destiny - it proves that there is no hope kay bisan unsaon nimo imo life padung ra jud ka adto sa imo destined fate...
plus mao ni cya kanunay gigamit nga excuse by people who are low lifes (it's not my fault i'm a scumbag - blame it on fate!... just like astrology - it's not my fault, blame it on the stars!). for crying out loud - take full responsibility of your actions and grow up!
this is pathetic.
we are in control of how our lives will go - we can either take the high way or the low!
destiny...hmmm...sounds like stuff telenovelas are made of....
random and purpose, two warring forces.
character at disposition, inherent.
pero how you deal with things that happen to you, that's what charts your destiny.
free will is only as far as your bank account go.
i'd say yes...i still believe in destiny...
So...am I..... I do believe...
i belive that we make our destiny.
I agree with pazuzu690...., for me;
Life is what you make it. We are the architect of our own success and we design it the way we want it to be.
Yep, I definitely agree... with junenine.
For me, we may or may not be destined for someone, but one thing must be put into mind... that in finding/loving that special someone, destiny only accounts 1% and the other 99% would go to sheer effort and force of will...
As said and done by many, you should fight for love... never depend on it... Don't just sit down and wait for something special to happen... You've got to work on it.
There may someone perfect for us somewhere, but would you rather choose that destined person over someone who is willing to love you indefinitely, even how incompatible you are with each other?
Incompatibility is nothing, just as long as you work your differences out, be open to each other and compromise...
Perfect example? Watch the movie..."Only You" (1994), starring Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.
no, i make my own destiny...
