and Third, higher budget for crowd control.

Dili pa man kaayo na samok sa una sa wala na uso nga DSLR, daghan lang jud sabay sa uso karon para cool tanawon.
    ha? kuyawa gud imo sulosyon
It's about the attitude ui and not limit the privileged to those with fatter wallets mura na hinu-on imo gihimo ang access sa photography a privilege only limited sa mga dato esp sinulog.
Has it ever occurred to you nga na ingon ani ni sila some contestants kay nag bayad lagi sila?

And bisan unsa pa ka daghan sa contestants if sensible and considerate lang unta dili mana ma ingon ana like the case we are talking about.

Kay it's a case of feeling elitist and your solution nga mahalon ang fee is just upping the stakes

the article is in the Reader's Views part of the Opinion section, hence submitted by a reader and not written by any staff of The Freeman. being so, the editors can't change the title.

for me the title speaks a lot, because it tells us what the genreal view of the public is regarding the photo contest and photographers in general. regardless of brand, let's take it as an eye-opener instead of saying that it's not nikon's fault or whatever. we should focus instead on the essence of Mrs. Ariate's opinion, that there are lapses to the conduct of the photo contest as well as the unethical attitude of some photographers. let us discuss solutions and move forward.

ang reason ngano taasan ang registration aron malimit ang mo apil...kay dili man nila madala ug control ang crowd so limitan nalang. you have the privilege of taking photos at the sideline kung dili ka mo apil. pero I know, nga uban nagpa register is to show off only, you can't deny that.

^^^ read the article...it's not just about crowd control sa contestants but the attitude
Ang photo contestants gamay ra compared and not even a fraction compared nimo sa entire sinulog audience or spectators.
And if mahalon nimo ang fee samot na kadako ang ulo hinuon

then how would you control the attitude of the photographer who joined the contest? impose them with sanctions?

We are discussing about these attitudes or how we show our disapproval or disgust--why and how it came to that point. And I'm not saying we have power over these behavior.
And niingon ko nga making it more expensive well even add fuel to their ego as paying a price for a more privileged access over others
