OK guys, i need a little of your experience... how do i start to put up a Non Government Organization or NGO?

what are the steps?

who do i approach?

where can i get details?

first register your NGO to Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-profit organization. if your address of your organization is in Cebu City and you intent to be accredited to the Province of Cebu you MUST first be accredited to the Cebu City government. Usually the following are the basic requirements:
1. Letter of Intent
2. Original of its registration and Article of Incorporation and By-Laws
3. Programs and Services
4. List of members, including photos of the officers, i.d.
5. Capital formation or members' equity
6. Accomplishment report
7. Audited financial statements
8. Certificate of good standing in your Baranggay.

Dili lisod mag pa accredited to Cebu City Government but lisod sa Province. At the Province your officers and directors must appear to their session infront of the Provincial Boards and Vice Governor. They will ask lots of questions of your group before they will accredited. Once your group is accredited you can easily ask financial assistance... good luck!!

hehehe, it seems you guys know me too well... hehehe, yes, it is about public awareness and lobbying for scientific study and decriminalization of cannabis... i'll probably start with a PO or people's organization, but first i have to test negative, so starting today i'm sacrificing for the better good of all... wish me luck guys...
