I suggest you go for Citisec (COL). Just type it in a google search bar and you'll get their website. From there, you can get information on how to open an account.

I've been using BPItrade for almost a year now. I do my homework and research on stocks at home and buying stocks through BPItrade and funding it(BPItrade account) through my BPI savings account using BPIexpressonline.

    Pag apply.

Mag click ra ka atong nakabutang ngadto nga "Apply now" then follow lang sa instructions, after ana imo ng iprint, dayon pinakadali is adto dayon ka sa BPI savings bank or asa nga branch sa BPI, pwede raka mo ask sa managers nila, so far sa mga na encounter nako labi na diha sa IT park nga BPI, they are very helpful man. Imo dayon dad-on didto nila then sila na ang mopadala sa imong documents ngadto sa Manila.

Ang BPItrade man gud is dili sa BPI savings nga branch ang nag handle ana is tua sa manila ilang sister company murag BPI Securities man tingale to, mao na nga ila gyud na ipadala didto sa Manila, ang requirements ani ID raman to ako gidala, dayon gi waive ang picture ato kay personal man ko ni adto then friendly man pud ang manager. Pero to be sure pagdala lang gyud ug 2 ka photos, 2x2 man tingale to, kamo nalang basa ngadto ug unsa to nga size.

By the way sa pagsubmit palang nimo sa mga requirements, you don't need to bring any money with you, kay nagsubmit raman ka. Walay money involved ani nga time.

Dayon wait lang ko ug pila ka days, usually within 3~5 working days mo contact na sila nimo through email, that is what my fellow officemates experienced, informing you nga approved na ang imong application, then tagaan pud ka nila sa imong BPItrade nga account number.

At this time if wala paka BPIexpressonline nga account, mas maayo nga magpareqister ka.
Ang BPIexpressonline importante kaayo kay mao nay maglink sa imong duha ka accounts, BPItrade account ug ang imong BPI savings account.

    Ani:
You need to have Two(2) accounts ani, BPIsavings bank account ug BPItrade account, ang BPI savings account nga mo finance sa imong BPItrade account, though ang BPItrade account pwede ra pud over the counter man tingale nimo nga i finance, but wala pako ka try better use the BPIexpressonline kay pinakadali ni nga pamaagi.

Ang BPI savings account depende if pila ang ilang required nga maintaining balance last time I checked if ATM account imo, naa sa 3,000 minimum nga maintaining balance.

Karon if ganahan naka magpalit ug stocks sa company kay you find it nindot investan.
Pwede na nimo fundan ang imong BPItrade account, how?

Ang ako style nga pinakadali since wala man BPItrade office diri sa Cebu, ako rang i deposit ang ako money didto sa akong BPIsavings account, dayon didto na nako sa i

"fund transfer using BPIexpressonline", from BPIsavings to BPItrade account,

expect the money to be credited to your BPItrade account after mga 3 days dili gyud ana kadali, kay murag ila panang i confirm didto sa manila or unsa ba ang money nga na transfer.

Now even if nakita na nimo didto sa BPIexpressonline nga naa na ni sulod ang money sa imong BPItrade account, inig log-in nimo didto sa BPItrade.com nga website, wala pa na mo credit dayon didto. Sometimes mo take pana ug 3 days.

But karon 2013 naman I don't know if unsa na kadali, kay murag nag upgrade naman sila sa ilang platform.

Finally after say an hour or say 2 or 3 days, paglog-in nimo sa BPItrade.com nakita na nimo ang imong money didto pwede naka mo palit ug stocks of your choice.

I wanted to thank you Bro for the info about BPITrade.

Haven't tried their UITF bro, I opted to do stock buying my own. That way cheaper siya.

About their performance wala pud ko updates bro, daghan man diri nag kuha ug UITF I think but usually tingale kanang EIP sa COL bana or FAMI ug unsa pana ang uban.

I did assist a few of my officemates got into mutual funds sa BDO man to, dali raman kaayo. Just have to approach ra sa bank. Helpful man sila.

I think UITF na ang sa BDO. UITFs are bank products/services, mutual funds are not.
Stand alone company ang mutual funds (normally).

    Mutual funds (IMO).

Pero I only tried UITF and some other investments nga bank ang manager. Ang uban i-spread mana nila og invest like certain percentage of which ky sa stock market, equity, etc...

Dapat ma-assess unsa ka nga type of investor pra ma advisan ka unsa investments suitable for you. In my case, moderately conservative ko unya nisud kog UITF (long term unta) pero I want it short term. Sige monitor sa rates then if taas2 na, i-out dayon. Okay siya for how many months ky increasing gyud tanan pero niabot ang time nga pag.reinvest nako, mao na diay to ang peak rate, nikalit ug crash down jud ang rate. Naa koy mga kaila nag panic, gi-out dayon which is lugi sila ato. Ang ako, ni wait pako mo up balik ayha pa gi out pero lugi gihapon ko sa time and inflation ky similar rmn ang amount redeemed unya nag-sleep ra ang money for more than a year or two mn tingali. Pero nakasud sad hinuon ko atong ubos kaayo unya nisaka napud og kalit nga dako og lat-ang. tanan naay risk and it's how you respond to some uncertainties maka determine if bagay ba jud ka ana nga investment. Much better longer jud ang term. It's not meant for short term.

Same goes with mutual funds, medium to long term sad ni siya. Ang uban moabot 5 years, 10 years, and so on... Gihimo nila ni for retirement nga investment.

Thank you Maam for your input. The fact was I actually open up a UITF account just recently. So are your still subscription in UITF? or you redeem it all?
