I did this and i can confirm that this is effective and working.
there's a bit of slowdown after but i cant be sure if this is related to the fix.
do you notice that value in the viewfinder? thats the number of shots you can make with the available memory.
mine was reduce from 60+ to 13 shots only.
8mp pix are rather large in size so it eats up your SD card faster.
bottomline: it works. i can take candid shots now without worrying of being caught. =)
pretty easy to perform by the way. i might add this to my rooting service.

mga sir's!!! naa lang koy question ba.. regarding sa apps for this particular phone.. according to a friend its better to download certain apps from a computer rather than installing it to your phone through google play when connected to wifi.. kay mas gamay daw ang iyang file size.. TRUE ni siya? I have been complaining bout my phone's prompt getting low storage man gd coz I have many apps running.. though napatay na same prompt gihapon.. nya katong akong friend daghan man sd unta apps sa yang same na phone then mas advantage pa gyud ko kay dako akong gig sa SD card pwo wala ra man siyay prompts na madawat about low storage oe.. so nag wonder lang ko ba if its true ug recommended ba mu download ug apps from your PC than google play.. mmm.. then if its true.. recommended ng apps na madownload using google.com?hehe thanks!!!![]()
If you are downloading apps from google play it will be directly installed in your phone, without backing up the apk file, while in PC you can download the APK file and copy to your phone then install it.
Summary:
For example an app with file size 49mb.
File from Google Play [49MB]>Download[49MB]>Install [49MB]
- No [49MB] apk file installer saved, but installed 49MB of file sized and consumed 49MB on your phone storage
File from Internet [49MB] >Download to PC [49MB] >Copy to Phone [49MB] > Install [49MB]
- [49MB] apk file was stored in your MicroSD/Phone storage, 98MB was consumed in your storage space.
There is a way to move your files from Phone Internal Storage to your MicroSD Card to have more storage pace available, so meaning daghan ka apps ma install sa imong phone kay na move man sa MicroSD, pero once ma remove imong microSD ma wala napud ang app..
Downloading from PC is the other way to get that APK file if your phone is not able to find that app in your Google Play store.
For example kani ha nag screenshot ko sa phone nako, with effort dyud ni may ta maka like lang pud hehehe.
This is my Internal Storage, meaning sa Phone ni sya nga Internal Memory [Kung sa PC drive C]
where your OS is stored and also the Program Files, and the desktop. Total Space: 2.11GB
And then Phone Storage, meaning sa Phone gihapon nga Internal Memory [Kung sa PC drive C]
where you store your Installer Files and etc. Total Space 437MB
Since my Default Write Disk is my SDCard, ang Phone Storage dili ma butang ang gi pang install nako nga files kay gamay raman sya ug capacity mao na mag memory full na sya di nako ka install, since ako naman gi transfer ang path sa pag install, adto sya ma install sa akong SDCard.
If sa PC, instead adto ma butang sa Drive C, adto na sya sa Drive D kay dako man ug capacity.

Ok, here is another good example my game World of Goo naka install sa Internal Storage [Downloaded] which is my Drive C [Downloaded is where your files are installed], it consumes 48.63MB of space. While in my Phone Storage [SDCard] wala sya maka consume ug space, why gi display na sya diha and there are boxes, meaning I can move that app to my MicroSD and free up some space in my Internal Storage.

Here if I tap the game World of Goo, naay option to move the game to another storage.
So ang na consume niya is only 872KB, kita ka sa ubos ang Internal Storage which is my Drive C:
On the 2nd Picture sa Right, mao na akong Phone Storage which is my MicroSD card, as you can see also the game Sparkle with a file size of 288KB sa Internal Storage [Downloaded] which is only the shortcut to desktop. While sa MicroSD [Phone Storage] ni consume siya ug 28.46MB. And same also with the World of Goo with a file size of 49.77MB.

I see the difference sir.. maybe puno nalang gyud kaayo ni akong MicroSD or what.. kay na confused hinuon ko kay all of my applications are downloaded straight to my MicroSD man and not to my internal memory.. pwo every time i run a few apps sa kani nga phone kay mag prompt na dayon ug Force Close coz of Low Memory.. and its asking for me to uninstall apps sad.. I did uninstall a few apps na bug.at sad kay naa koi gi install nga lain in replace.. same2 ra siya ug file size sir ha pwo ma less naman hinuon.. example.. iuninstalled 4 apps.. then I installed 1 app na same2 ra ug size sa usa sa akong gi uninstall nga app.. mu prompt naman nuon dayon sir na low storage nako.. nya akong friend kay 4gg ra yang sdcard while ako 8.. pwo mas daghan man hinuon siya apps naa install kaysa nako.. so niana siya nga basin kay direct nako gi install sa google play. lol so naka think pud hinuon ko nga possible.. haha pwo unsa man maayo buhaton ani sir? tabang!!!
lamat!!
