    I don't get Abola's logic. BPO's might close shop due to the appreciating, stronger peso but generally we will have a better economy in the long run. The money will simply transfer to other businesses or industries and those sectors will be hiring soon.

    Abola's statement is senseless, biased and self-serving.

    what sectors do you reckon they will transfer to? will those sectors pay as much as the BPOs do? Will they provide the same benefits the BPOs do? If not, then say hello to more brain-drain...

    You make the mistake of assuming that a strong currency is indicative of a strong economy. It's not necessarily that way.
