Smart Bro prepaid microsim ang naa sa ako Nexus karon. Pero ang cellphone nako naka data plan sa sun cellular. So most of the time mag hotspot lang ako cellphone and magconnect ang N7 sa hotspot. Pero the problem is battery life ng cellphone if mag hotspot all the time. and for some reason, I always get better speed sa sun postpaid compared to smart bro prepaid (tested sa ayala, sm, parkmall, mabolo area, talamban area)

To owners of Nexus 7, palihog kog test sa GPS.

Of course aside from daily usage, I plan to make use of the Nexus 7 as my GPS navigator. Naa nako app na offline with directions, Osmand, pero di jud nako ma test sa ako android phone kay di man mugana ang GPS sa akong phone. Di ka connect. Ambot fi daoton akong phone. Katong naa ko sa Davao murag ni connect man. Ako worry is, if ang GPS signal sa Pinas is really that bad that if mag rely ra sa GPS, then I cannot make use sa Nexus 7 as my navigator.

Hopefully if good ang feedback, then mupalit ko. Please ayaw i-on ang Wifi inig testing, di pud ko sure if naa ba na A-GPS, pero I would just like to test GPS lang jud nya.

    Salamat.

The GPS of the nexus 7 is very good in my opinion. Even without a-gps(cellular and WiFi off), I can easily get a signal even indoors near a window. In comparison, my HTC desire HD and HTC sensation cannot get a signal by a window, and during a clear day, it takes around 3-5 minutes for them to get satellite lock while the N7 takes around 15 seconds lang. When I was using GPS navigation in the north of Cebu going to tabuelan (hilly area), the HTC sensation lost GPS signal while the N7 remained locked on to the GPS signal.

the Nexus 7 can read low voltage portable hard drives and flash drives.. even card readers.
So if you ever feel the need for additional memory, gamit lang flash drive.

also since 3G imu ganahan paliton, maka-access ra ka sa mga cloud storage.
