Hi C.U.T.E. members.
Starting my first turtle tank this weekend.
This would be a semi-planted tank w/ 2 1 inch RES turtles.
Any tips for beginners especially gamay pa kaayo ang turtles?

bai, semi-planted? not advisable, since kaunon ra na sa RES.)
Ok ra walay plants bai, basta naa lang rocks or driftwood w/ basking lamp nga pwede magbasking imo RES.
If botangan nimo pebbles, make sure nga dagko para dili matulon sa imo RES.
Very Important pd imo filter bai.)

Dli man pud expensive plants akong gipang butang.
Got some fishes for them to play and probably eat soon.
As for the filter kay decided to use an overhead instead of a canister since murag permi nako pulihan/clean.
Wala ko nag butang ug rocks or pebbles but na a driftwoods para katkatan or para ilang i-bask.

Questions, do they need sunlight when they bask or pwede ra artificial lighting?

Artificial Lighting will do. Pero take time pd to take your RES outside para mainitan. 30-40 mins a day if possible.)

Hi CUTE! Just brought the 2nd RES last oct 2012. Then mahadluk sya kung muduol nami sa pond. Katong 1st RES namu muduol man kung mulawg nami. Unsaon para kanang magpakita sya? Cge syag tago under the kahoy/bato na imu gibutang sa pond.
