FYI, BPOs aren't limited to just call centers you know

unless ni-invest, nipalit og nagpatukod og kaugalingong yuta og building ni sila, dili ingon ana kalisod ibalhin ang business sa mga BPOs

we may have an advantage (daw) in speaking English but if the BPO is dealing more with accounting, software/IT/programming, etc., dali ra tawn na pwede ihatag sa ubang lugar like India

what we need is a relatively stable peso (no sudden/dramatic appreciation or depreciation) AND the government should find/encourage ways where our opportunity for employment here in the Philippines isn't dependent on BPOs. as of now you cannot deny nga dako ang tabang sa mga BPOs in providing employment here. og daghan sad mga Pilipino ang nagtrabaho (or gustong magtrabaho) sa gawas.

appreciation of peso may look good on paper but SUDDEN changes like this can actually affect us negatively especially the middle and lower class. whether you like it or not, it's business so these companies will prefer to do business where it will cost them less.

for engineering graduates like electrical/computer/mechanical, do you think ingon ana kadali mangitag trabaho (nga magamit gyud ilang skills as engineer) diri sa Pilipinas nga dili foreigner ang tag-iya?

not enough and justifiable comparison, you need to compare Philippines over the years with the rest of the world too in order to get the bigger picture. how much does it cost here through the years AND how much does it cost in other countries as well?
