Hi everyone, I would like to invite you all to the stock market investing lecture that I'd be conducting on Nov. 17, 2012 at Baseline Complex from 1PM to 6PM. The lecture is tailor made for people who either have no idea about how to invest in the stock market or have very limited knowledge.

Here are some facts:

*The current inflation rate is around 3% to 3.8% (3.5% on average). Inflation rate, in layman's term, is defined as the rate of increase of prices of commodities or looking at it on a different perspective, it is the rate of decrease of our money's value year after year.

*Rate of return for savings accounts is only around 0.375% while rate of return for time deposits is around 3.5%. Considering the inflation rate, money is growing at -3.125% on savings accounts or 0% in time deposits. There's no such thing as negative interest but what it implies is that money is not growing, it is losing its value.

*Stocks can go up for as high as 50% in a single day. Some stocks has gone up by more than 1000% in just 3 or 4 years. Investing in the stock market is one of the best ways to make money grow.

*Growth in stock market investments are tax free, savings and time deposit accounts are subjected to tax hence if you invest in stocks, you get to save 12% instantly.

But, stock market investing can lead to very huge losses if not done the right way. Knowledge and discipline are very important in making the right investment decisions. The lecture that I'd be conducting aims to provide all the necessary (basic) knowledge about stock market investing. Below are the details of the lecture:
