    this is actually scientifically proven, check on google. the reason why you gain weight when u lack sleep is because of stress. when you are stressed out, there is a chemical released in the brain that causes you to store fat rather than burn it. this explains why a lot of call center agents are not only overweight some are actually obese (no offense meant, just stating a fact). when one ages, metabolism slows down and it becomes worse if u have a sedentary lifestyle and work, worse if u dont get any sleep. enough sleep is indeed very important
