yes.
daghan na ga-offer ug financial literacy ron. however sa employee level ra(kay mao ray maka afford) which is para nako kulang. it should start at least at high school level, samtang wa pa nalubong ug utang during early employment years. However unless ang school mismo or govt mag impliment, medyo lisod jud ni mahitabo kay magrely rata ug volunteer hehe.
kudos sa mga nagkalisod ug sugat sa mga prospect nga gahi ug ulo and in the end ma-usab nila ang mind when it comes to investing.
and.. im not promoting any services/company kay temporarily retired sa ko ani. hehe.

Not only Pinoys but tanan tao regardless of race. If kulang imong financial IQ, chances are you'll end up either broke or struggling later on in life.
Ang scenario nato sa Philippines is that ang mga gitudluan ug unsaon pangita ug kwarta (which is something that most Filipinos are good at) but wala gitudluan ug unsaon pag manage ug patubo sa ilang kwarta.
Kung financial education, yes, dako kaayo nga need but para nako, aside from financial education, kinahanglan gyud makadevelop pud ug discipline ang mga Pinoy. Maski unsa pa na kanindot ang concepts if dili iapply or di maapply ug tarong sa kinabuhi, useless gihapon. Financial education and discipline should go hand in hand.
we really need financial education kay kasagaran nato murag allergic ug makadungog na sa word nga investments.
SO correct ka ts... mostly Filipinos kay cge ug reklamo sa atong Goberno(But naa pud sayop ang Goberno natu..) Bitaw sakto jud ang Quote ni JFK " Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." We all knew for century or even decade na ang "Some bad practices sa atong goverment." Murag lisud na itul id.. so mas maayo nga kita mismo nalang ang magpalago sa atong life. Like investing to something...Filipinos are not "Natural Investor" so need jud ang Financial Literacy.
needed kaau ang Financial Literacy...... it's better na tudloan na daan ang mga bata at an early age by their parents..... yung simple lang sa...... then maybe sa high school........ and college....
....... a member here.... already opened an acct... for his daughter mga 2 years old i guess........ Bata pa kau..... investor na......... at her age...... gna train na cya...... ang iya daughter..... he'll give her coins, and tell her to drop the coins in the piggy bank....... so that's daily........ maybe also he will teach her about mutual funds and stocks..... in her high school years........ and the best thing is that...... naa na daan syay acct...... so when she reaches the legal age she'll be managing her own portfolio.........
Many people (including me) are not familiar on how to save and increase our savings. many have heard of stocks, mutual funds, insurances, etc but do not know where to start, how to open an account, etc. we are stuck with piggy banks and bank savings account.
many people, including me again, do not understand how stocks work, and are afraid to invest in something we do not fully understand. stocks have huge potential gains, but also have corresponding risks. since we want to play it safe, we end up just opening a savings account. financial education will really be beneficial to all.
