i know none of you follow Raptors games, but...

after 5 loooong years at the bottom, we're finally in the playoffs and a chance to win our first ever division title, and for homecourt advantage.

ever since they traded vince, i have stopped watching the raptors..but now, since they have acquired the services of bargnani, calderon and garbajosa, i'm rooting back for the raptors.. its just so sad that garbajosa got a nasty injury..i hope he gets well and i hope calderon gets more playing time..

dwyane wade returned to the heat line-up. this is a very good news for them in the playoffs. despite the loss to the bobcats, it was a good and balanced game for the defending champs. wade had 12 points and dished out 8 assists, not bad for a player who's out for 6+ weeks to injury. miami didn't rely too much on wade and shaq this time. mourning led miami with 20 points and jason kapono added 19 and hit 3-for-3 behind the arc. that kind of all around performance is what miami will need in the playoffs, considering the fact that for sure dwyane wade won't be 100%.

i might have been too late to notice it but chicago is already the number 2 seed in the east. 1.5 games ahead of 3rd placed raptors, the bulls have a great chance of ending the season in that place. something ben wallace might not regret after leaving the pistons. and a good place since they'll be able to avoid the defending champs in the second round.

nuggets now own the longest winning streak in the near end season, having 5 straight. this might be the AI-melo tandem that the nuggets dreamt of..
