UPGRADE QUESTION: OS, RAM and MOBO

i got this procie i3 3220.

i still lack these parts: mobo, ram and OS version.

i have a mobo in mind which is b75 from either asus or msi. going asus i think since msi is hard to find. (if someone can help me find this )

purpose of this pc is for gaming.

question:
1. what ram should i get? pls help. pls specify what model and brand so i can buy one asap. also include price and store if you have info on that.
2. what os version should i get? 32 bit or 64 bit? i am currently using 32 bit windows 7 in my old q6600. should i switch to 64 bit now? if yes, why and what benefits will i get with going 64 bit. im planning to go 64 bit since im planning to get 8 gig ram. pls suggest if this is a good move or what.

1. Get a Corsair Vengeance 4GBx2 Kit. around 2.3k sa CAC
2. 64Bit, kay 8GB man imo RAM, para magamit nmu tanan.

Sa motherboard, mas nndot ang layout sa ASUS kay pahigda man ang SATA ports, mas saun i route ang cables compared sa MSi nga nakabarog. mas cheaner iyang look. no need to buy katong mga 90 degrees nga SATA connector.

Though cheaper ang MSi by less than 1k. hahah

4GB Ram ra imo magamit, compared to 64bit nga theoretically 6 exabytes of RAM. Hahahah


btaw, if mag 64bit ka, mas magamit nmu fully imong processor w/c is designed to run on a 64-bit instruction set.

Remeber the 8-bit days, nya nahimo ug 16-bit, then 32-bit na karon, nya nag hinay2 na ug ka sikat ang 64-bit.



p.s. I highly recommend getting Windows 8 Pro x64.
Faster boot times and overall better performance.

follow up question:
1. dli rako ma problema sa mga games or other applications ani? basin dli compatible and drivers sa 64 bit. this may sound so noob but la jd ko exp using 64 bit system.

Hahah. latest games kay mu run nmn sa 64 bit jud, nya if new pud imong GPU, impossible nga walay drivers para ana.
Also sa imong chipset sa mobo, naa na daan sa ilang website.

So far, nka gamit rako tanang games/applications/programs nga ako kailagan on my 64bit OS.

If not, use lang ka ug compatibility mode.

a full reinstall will be better. and use 64bit OS, 1333 is native support sa imo processor, but i think u can use higher freq memory(it doesnt cost much difference anyways and can be used if u plan to upgrade to i5/i7). u can go and get ordinary value rams, or if u plan to have theme, select some red or blue heatspread rams(depende unsa imo plan colors. barato ra g.skill
