aside from destiny we have the will
And for me thats Destiny.
But theres a catch, Kita tanan tawo nga nabuhi ngari sa kalibutan dunay gitawag nga FREEDOM, total Freedom to be exact.
So anha na ma apply ang "it's in our hands the power to influence the what-has-to-come"
PEACE!!!!
"there's no such thing as FATE/Destiny...there's just different CHOICES"....---> from the movie, Number 23...
I do believe in destiny and in soulmates.... i'm just the mushy mushy type of girl, believing in a fairytale-story-like-lovelife, but of course time will tell...........and have to wait till it happens...
destiny is matter of choice..............if we choice to be drug addict ..or if we chose to be businessman... its a choice......
choice ....not a chance.... i believe in it.
tinood na ang destiny i think..
Destiny and fate are like the many branches sa usa ka river headed to sea. Imagine a river splitting out into several tributaries paingon sa river (like a river delta), and you are on a boat on the main branch. If you don't do anything, chance will decide which branches of the river your boat will take. However, if the boat has oars, and you decide to use these oars, ikaw ang makabuot which branch of the river your boat will follow.
So the question now is, do you want to use the oars or not?
Another point why I don't believe in destiny.
Horoscopes and astrology claim that your fate and destiny is pre-ordained by the positions of the planets during the time of your birth. This was for a time, very effective because no-one or no event contradicted this idea, and so astrologers had a field day nga mag-buot unsa ang future sa usa ka tawo. But certain events occurred that destroyed this notion.
For instance, twins were born into a Royal family (king ug queen). When these twins were born, the SAME planets were in a particular position in the sky at that particular moment, which means, dapat, the fate of the twins will be the SAME, according to the court astrologer (who also acted as the King's adviser). But, what if the other twin was stolen by thieves, and raised as a different person? The other twin became poor, and eventually died earlier due to disease/illness, and the other twin who stayed in the castle stayed rich and powerful, and lived a long and prosperous life.
So the astrologer who predicted that both twins will lead the SAME life because of the "laws" of astrology and "rules" of Horoscope are in fact WRONG. This is why court astrologers (or King's "advisers") always secretly ordered the finding and killing of a stolen twin in the medieval times, so that no one can prove that their astrological advice is actually FALSE and UNTRUE.
Pero sad that until this very day, people still believe in destiny, fate, horoscope, and astrology.
