kindle fire rooting

anyone here knows where i can have my kindle rooted? i tried following steps I searched in Google and Youtube but palpak man.

any info and suggestions will be much appreciated.

I have Kindle and i've tried rooting it using How To's i found online. Was probably successfull since now i have this SuperUser icon on my Kindle.

Unfortunately, everytime i plug into my notebook, i can't see my Kindle. Nor can i transfer files to/fro my Kindle...

Amazon sucks bigtime.
