It me again... Just got my hands on the New GooPhone i5 a few days ago, GooPhone is a Chinese manufacturer that clones iPhones... as always This review is created so that everybody will be aware of such fakes being circulated, to stop such piracy from spreading even more purchase location wont be mentioned

Normally I purchase at a good price, review then sell the phone... This time I purchased this at around $249 thinking at first I'll review it and sell it... to my surprise Ive fallen deeply in love with this phone... people would always say a true android fan would never get anything like this... this time however they are wrong... iPhone had always been known for its comfort in you hand and this is no different due to it being a 1:1 copy its made of Glass all round!! look at it this way all the design benefits of apple and all that raw power from android... ITS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!!

Specs:
- 1.4GHz MTK MT6589 quad-core processor
- 4 inch In-cell screen, Retna 1280*720 pixel display
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB Buit-in Memory
- Support 3G network: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 & WCDMA 850/2100 MHz
- 8MP back camera + 1.3MP front camera
- Android 4.0 OS

Pros:
- Very Solid Build
- Glass front and back
- 4.0 OS
- 1:1 copy of iOS UI
- 8MP Camera & 1.3MP Front Cam
- 1.4 QUAD-CORE PROC
- 1 GB RAM
- The Retna display

Cons:
- No Gapps Built-in (You have to flash it)
- Annoying Chinese apps (Root then remove them)
- Syncing contacts from google is a pain!! (took 3 hrs to find out how)
- Battery life 5-6 Wifi / 8-10 talk time/3G
- No Flyover --- heheh DUH!!!
- NANO SIM --- Im not a fan of cutting my SIM!!

At first you will be annoyed since there will be no Play Store the only way to install apps will be thru APKs this was my downside at first but I realized that what if i can install CWM i should be able to flash it... then the answer came in the form of XDA devs... I was able to flash the gapps necessary for play store to work properly... rooted the phone then removed the Chinese apps.. this phone is just the BomB!!.. Check out the pics below and enjoy..

by the way since this is a 1:1 Design Replica all apps like sms, dialer, camera, contact, email etc. are 100% similar to iOS and to add screen protectors, jelly cases etc of ip5 will fit 100%. I actually brought this to our office where there are 60 employees most of which has iphones and androids and none of them ever saw any hints that it was a copy, even the apple fan boys its that well replicated (just don't let them open itunes or your busted)









If you plan to get this phone please make sure that your getting the real GooPhone since there are copies of the GooPhone being circulated as well -- A REPLICA OF A REPLICA -- WARNING!!!
