That makes sense and a strong case nga dili needed ang diploma. However, think twice. Do you have the wits of Sy or Gates? Their business prowess? Probably the good luck that they had? If no, then you may need a diploma.

Kaning college degree is some sort of standard these days. It will make job hunting easier and will definitely increase your credibility. Let's face it, competitive na kaayo ang kalibutan karon and you need everything you have at your disposal to have an edge. Having a college degree is an instant edge that you get since it is the norm or the standard.

Though college degree is not really a necessity, it is one of the keys that can help you achieve success easier. Of course, it can't replace values such as determination, perseverance, honesty, etc.

You may not need a college diploma in some jobs but you need it in most. Acquiring one does not ensure you "success", but it gets your foot in the door. It lets you get a better chance.
