i dont care kung si Pnoy or si kinsa pa nang presidente ang naglingkod. this is not a thread about him anyway. the our discussion is about the Devaluation of the US vs PEso & ang effect ani.. nganong wa man niintervene ang govt? kinsa may majoy share holders sa BIg oil companies bai? clearly the OIL industry is the biggest importers sa atong nasud & greatly affects everybody.

Feb, 1 USD = 45, palit kag 1k USD na raw materials, kinahanglan kag 45k pesos

Unsaon gud tawn pagbarato ana sitwasyuna?

What really concern me is that an authoritarian government that they say is repressive does more to take care of their people than our country that claims to be democratic. It leads me to believe our government thinks democracy is only about elections but not about delivering a better life to people. Like some posters here are suggesting, just live a simple life and be thankful for the government we have lang daw. Well I think the large numbers of OFW and companies relocating overseas have made their choice. It's become so bad that there are now pinoy working or doing tnt in China, yes, China of all places! Why do I know this? Because we're applying for a visa for my girlfriend now and the travel agent told me she can't guarantee one will be granted because their government is now cracking down on illegal immigration from our country. Who could think it would come to this a few years ago? This should be a source of embarrasment for everyone...
if importer ka, unsay mas maayu Strong Peso (lower exchange rate) OR Weak Peso(higher exchange rate)?
