i dont need to buy Flat screen tv when all i want to watch are news and a bit of telesryes
i dont need to buy iphone when all i want is to call and txt especially naay unlimited
i dont need to buy luxurious car when all i need is to go to one point to the other. a multicab will do.
i dont need to treat my family to an expensive resort or restaurants when all we need is bonding in the family. 1 kaldero of rice and 1/2 kilo lechon will do plus 1.5 liters of coke at the beach waiting for the sun to set.

and i dont feel its cheap.

this is what i will instill to my son that he needs not to spend much when he wants something. save the surplus for emergency ky dli nato mahibaw an unsay mahitbao nato.

but i dont discount of having to experience lifestyle sa mga dato sometimes. that is if naa na gyud mi sobra.
sakto na imo bai..IF naay sobra then why not indulge ourselves diba?. mao sad na sa isa ka OFW bai. daghan tinood ang mga OFW nga way klarong plano sa kinabuhi but daghan sad ming nagtigum coz we undrstand nga temporary ra ni. SO the bigger the savings the better jud diba?that is why we get affected with this kay USD earner man ko (di man ko SGD earner). ako bai, i only live with 25-30% of my income per month. most of my income is in savings or my investments. Like you i dont buy the latest gadget but from time to time i also indulge myself coz i believe i deserve it. should i be considered wasteful if nigamit ko og Aircon? or anything of that sort? as long as my savings is bigger than my gastos bai, i think i am considered frugal..am i not?

But i still stick to what i said bai..our capacity to earn or our income dictates our lifestyle. some are exemptions but mostly mao ni ang mahitabo. Like you bai..why did you buy a multicab when in fact daghan man jeepneys? it is a lifestyle choice isnt it?

Mao nay saktong tawgon nga greed, bro! Ambot kung super hakog lang jud ning naa sa govt or medyo naa pud pagka clueless. Wealth is not a finite creation. The more well-off people are, the better the country as a whole will be. Just because your neighbor has become a millionaire, buot pasabot nakuhaan imong chance nga mag milyonaryo pud. Wealth is not a fixed pie where if someone else has taken all 8 pieces, wala nay mahabilin sa imoha. Wealth is not just 8 pieces of a pie anyway, it can be millions of pieces, bisan pila pa na ka permutations. There's enough wealth for everyone, people!
