I am really not sure kung sakto na ang title.
I mean... kung na-hurt ba jud ang mga OFW anang mga Ups-and-Downs of our PhP.
    I really dont think so...

Ang impact sa exchange rate during Pasko Season against sa growth sa family sa OFW through out the years... (kamo na sumpay)

...para nako, most OFW's are NOT hurt by the strong PHP during these seasons.

    ihmo lang...
haha..kugn pwede palang bai, hagbay ra na nakong gibuhat pagubos palang sa value from 1:55 to 1:50..hahaha.
OFW's are hurt bai for sure. labi na tong earning in USD. labi pajud kung wa nagsaka imong sweldo every year to cover the loss.. imagina lang bai, for every 1000USD you'll lose 15K pesos (basin from $1:P55 ha, & gas price ato kay P30+ pa). imagina lang ang impact sa 15K monthly sa imong pamilya ana..& wa pana nato storyahi nga TEMPORARY ra jud ning pagkaOFW. meaning wala kay security of tenure so dapat kang magtigom while it last...

IMO.. i think dili man ang savings ang issue. it is more of the monthly expenses. ang pagstretch sa value sa imong gipadala VS sa imong sacripisyo nga layo sa pamilya (labi natong mga tarong nga pamilyado). parehas ani bai.. if i send 1000USD per month para sa expenses sa akong pamilya (apil akong ginikanan) imagina pila nalng ang value ana in peso compared to a few years ago nga $1:P55. about 15K ang nawala sa exchange rate alone, wa pay labot ang pagsaka sa palitonon.. mao nang masakitan jud ming mga OFW nga nagpakabana..maayo ta tog niubos ang palitonon pero wala man..LPG gani karon pwerte nang mahala (nga to think ingon ang Govt naa daw tay dako kaayong reserve sa LPG , Toink?!) hehehe
