boss Denz, you are being very diplomatic with semantics.

for what its worth, Inconsiderate is Greed in sheep's clothing.

i doubt it is being inconsiderate bai. Bargaining is not that bad at all. of course di tanan bargaining maayo, naa say bati & naa say maayo. but consider this, if ikaw manindahay og kamonggay nya padung na laws na imong kamonggay, for sure wa nay mopalit ana. wouldnt you consider bargaining para lang mahalin? ang uban sang manindahay sa merkado(if di tanan) bai mogamit anyel para motuskid ang ilang baligya para motaas ang shelf life sa producto. we cant say inconsiderate ang tao when they bargain. a good bargain is when both parties are happy.

I doubt you can call it greed. Greed is when you see businessmen in the phils pocketing profits while they pay below minimum wage sa ilang workers. But for a common OFW to work outside the country who has to leave their family behind para lang sa kaginhawaan sa iyang pamilya, to me that is sacrifice. It might not be noble but sure is not Greed.

you can't call that greed bai. stretching the value of your money is not being greedy. sa ato pa kung mopalit sa sa mercado then mohangyo ka sa presyo, would that be considered greedy?
pila na ka tuig nag OFW boss Project?

we will never get a level of understanding here because i know what i see from my own vantage point.. and you probably see yours too.

Just because a person has expressed dissatisfaction over something, dili buot pasabot, he's an ungrateful person. When something happens to a person, that person goes through stages of emotions. Self-explanatory naman na oi, kasabot man ta tanan ana ba. When my friend tells me nga napun-an na pud daw iyang pa dala sa PI tungod sa lower exchange rate sa dollar, then na stretch pag ayo iyang budget for that month, dili man na tungod ungrateful siya, nag share lang siya nako sa iyang frustrations sa iyang sitwasyon gud. She then says later, always, "ing-ana naman jud ang sitwasyon, wala man ta'y mahimo, padayon lang gihapon panikay sikay". Di ba normal reaction ra man sa tawo ug ing-ana? To me, at least, that's normal. Ikaw cge jud nimo stress be grateful, which is great, but we cannot be in a constant feeling of gratefulness 24/7. We are people, thus we feel pain, anger, disappointment, frustration...we whine, we b**ch, we vent...we love, we hate, we smile, we frown...we run through a whole gamut of emotions. Does that mean we're ungrateful and greedy? It means we're human beings. Mao ra gud na akong point gud.

mao bai. You probably know things that i dont & vice versa. But to say greedy ang tawag ana (for an ofw to be affected of the strong peso), i really think that is the wrong word to use. like sa sulti ni dorothea, mas sakto pa nga isulti nga greedy ang mga businessmen sa ato kaysa sa OFW. because OFW's/common workers works to earn a "taxed" salary (wa pay labot ang sakripsiyo nga nalayo sa pamilya). Businessmen earns & spends before they get taxed (wa pay labot ang palusot nga benefits which common workers will never have, e.g. Gas Allowance, food allowance, etc.).

lisod jud ta nga mag abot ani bai. di man gani perming magkasinabot ang 2 ka mag-igsoon nga parehas silag ginikanan, kita pa kaha? we are just discussing things anyway, naa jud nay panahon nga managlahi ta og opinion.

+1 ko ani. they have all the right to complain.let them speak. regardless if para sa uban greedy or not or unsa man gani. wala natay labot.right na nila mo istorya kung unsa man gani ilang gusto istorya, na hala. no need to label kung unsa man gani sila.

Dili patas nga imo dayun e-tagged ang imong fellow OFW as "greedy", simply kay ne-vent out sya sapagsaka sa peso.
Dorothea is right , it's human nature.
We do have different views and opinions.
Para nimo dili diay dapat mo comment or mo react sa pagsaka sa peso imo sad nah.
    Respect others views too...

We may not be as smart as you are but let me give you the bigger picture sir.
In reality, my own experience katung mga OFW nga mo react sa exchange rate mao tung klase sa oFW nga may pakialam or I must say naay pagpakabana. Simple math, bcos of the fluctuation rate, from my monthly budget plan- ang figures sako fixed expenses mo-vary isn't it? Now, ang impact ari diri sako variable expenses.
Mas daku ang variance kung ang fixed expenses is padung sa Pinas ,let's say if 75% of my income is covering my fixed expenses hipokrito ra kaayo ang moingon nga it's not a big loss at all.

Pagpakabana sa unsa? kay cguro ginastretch jud nila ila budget kay maybe naa silay project or savings kay nahan na sila mouli.
Mao every peso counts, katong kever lang if mosaka or moubos mao tong way plano sa ugma, Money today bah ila prinsipyo.
That doesn't mean sir nga they are ungrateful for their job. Geunsa man nimo pagsiguro nga wa nila ge-appreciate ila income.
How about kanang mga OFW nga mopalit ug gadget dayun ingon "haay, ug naa pakos Pinas di gyud ko kapalit ani"
Di bha, dat is one scenario dat shows nga this OFW feels dat he's blessed/fortunate kay nakawork sya abroad and for that he can afford to buy his luho.

You and I both know nga common kaayo na linya madungog sa mga remittance center mga yangungo sa OFW and by the way it's not OFW lang but it's common reaction from any working expats.
Instead of judging your fellow OFW and calling them greedy, did you ever asked yourself why man kaha it's a common reaction?sa ato pa diay halos 75% sa working expats population-GREEDY?

Or perhaps, this is just another example of what sis Dorothea called "human nature". May tendency mohukom dayun basi sa unsay nadungog or nakita without seeing the bigger picture.

Dunno why you are so affected with those comments and reactions in the first place.

Unya unsa inyung ikasulti nga ang PINAKADAKO nga factor sa pagsaka sa Value sa PESO is ang Remittance raman sad sa OFW's. SO based sa topic, mahimu na nang "OFW hurt by strong Philippine peso - BECAUSE of Large amount of OFW dollar remittances".

So para nko if mu reklamu ang OFW sa taas nga presyo sa Pesos, tabla rag gi reklamu niya iyang kaugalingon binuhatan.
