I wouldn't blame the pranksters for the nurse's death. That's just stupid. If anything, they'd only be charged with identity theft.

The nurse acted on her own volition. The most rational explanation of the suicide is maybe she was already clinically depressed for a long time - waiting for something to finally blow her lid off. No emotionally stable person will ever take their own life just because of some prank call.

The pranksters didn't foresee the suicide, however they did waste the time of person who was busy working and humiliate them in the process, no doubt causing much trouble for the nurse. This was done purely for ratings & money.
