which is better? LCD (LED) or Plasma?

the video gurus at pinoydvd will tell you that when playing movies, plasma is better than lcd (led) in terms of picture quality.

but for practical and general purposes (work, internet, games)... go with lcd (led).

so, if you are more into movies like >=70% of the time, go with plasma. just be prepared to pay higher electricity bill.

plasma tv sets are also generally cheaper compared to lcd (led) of the same size and same generation.

Plasma TV = Buslot bulsa sa electric bill
Plasma TV = Highest picture quality and refresh rate

LED TV = energy efficient

@banobaby: i think similar raman sila og picture quality/performance, but to be sure just request for a side by side comparison by having them display a movie at the same time.... and if the picture quality is the same to your eyes.... then choose the one with the better aesthetics to you...
