Videos can help just a bit. But the most important thing to a drummer is listening. Listen to your favorite drummers. AND play. You'll never know anything if you just watch tutorials but never play. Play play play. The more you play, the more you get the hang of technique--- it almost naturally comes to you in the long run.

Aside from your drum set and drumsticks, a drummer's best friend in a band is also the bassist. Drummers must have heart and passion in playing. They must keep in time and maintain their groove.

Suwayig jam ang mga kanta sa Red Hot Chillip Peppers.. nindot na pang ba-id ilang mga kanta kay sayon, nindot ug groove, unya maka lingaw. Butang lang
sa headphones nya sakyi ang mga kanta... Suway sab ug mga POLICE, mga SMOOTH JAZZ... especially smooth jazz kay there's sooooo much space to play around.
As far as tools go.. bisag metronome, drumpad, and sticks .. payts na... practice sa rudiments with the pads along with the metronome, mao nay nindot nga exercise. It helps you practice keeping time plus it also helps you with your stick control.

as for me.... i dig... carter beauford, dave weckl, virgil donnati and matt cameron... these drummers are great! there are many great drummers but these guys can give you a kick in the bu** !
