Well it depends. Normal skateboards are slower, and not as good for hills. However, they're cheaper and you can do tricks on them,. But if you're not in crowded area, a longboard usually is better there since its faster and wider. You can easily get best skates under 100 from the online store with dozens of options with their reviews.
