Let's see if this works, First post in this thread
All shots are taken while working for a NGO
First of all, take your fake lensflare out. It doesn't add into the picture. And looking at the shadow in your picture the flare could never have been there.
Work on a concept, it feels very akward in the position plus background she is in.
Give her more room on the top of the photo to show a better composition plus give more background info
Maybe pop the pink a little bit more up so she gets more out of the background.
The distracting little plant is annoying me big time. Especially because your model is glaring at it and looking quite googly eyed.
Maybe light up a little of the right side of her face with a reflector.
This is just two photos but the model you've picked, she doesn't really seem versatile/have a lot of facial expression.
With the lack of concept+background incorporation they look a little dull.
Try to go out with an idea what you wanna get, and make the model more comfortable and try out things.
Pag sorry ko for my English. I'm a foreigner and don't fully speak bisaya yet

mingaw lagi dri sah?
composition wise: okay man ang framing pero ang tudlo na putol.. hadlok panagsa tanawon
distraction: door knob
model: ang position makes her look fat.. hahahaha.. (sorry model) maybe a little twist here and a twist there? v(^_^)
exposure: hmmm... medjo too low contrast for my taste and the colours purag whack pero mao na nga effect imu gusto no problem there
Thanks for the comments, truly appreciate it... hahaha mao lagi na putol ang fingers..had hard time adjusting to the nifty fifty considering the space that was available... naa koy question about sa exposures, when it comes to different monitors, naa bay standard na light adjustment? kay ako monitor hayag kaau bsag low na kaau ang light and sometimes mag lisod ko when it comes to editing my pics na..I am bothered when thinking how dark or how bright it would look on other people's monitors...
OT ^^ hi kizzy_met21, first of all dili ko photog ha, pero graphic designer ko. Regarding sa imo question about monitor settings, sad to say walay "standard" ana. I actually have problems with this one when dealing with clients, especially those who use standard monitors. Since lahi-lahi man sad og adjustment kada tao sa monitor. Best advice would be, investing on a very good calibration tool. I have one called Spyder4Pro, result is almost similar to print. Pero still pag-check sa client naa gihapon diperensya. Or sa akong natun-an sa school, i-adjust ang level sa imong image by using this technique (in PS).
* New layer on top
* Fill with black set to "Color" mode
Check if you have enough blacks and whites ie. value (you will know this kung imong subject mu-separate sa imo background/identifiable ang mga objects with just grayscale). This way sad makita ang mga retouches (lens dust, blemishes etc.) nga wala natarong. btw, you don't need to save this one. This is just my technique to check the values in the image.
It's up to you na sad siguro kung happy naka sa result using your own monitor, ok nana sya. You have no control man sa display sa tanan viewers nimo. Importante lang basta inig print nimo para sa portfolio puhon, accurate and ma-satisfy ka.
Again sorry sa OT.
