"The LTO officer said only authorized LTO personnel will attach the plates and stickers on all vehicles with a corresponding cost of P450 for MV plate and P120 for motorcycle (MC) plate."

"He said the standardization will help address the difficulty in prompt identification of counterfeit plates, use of dilapidated plates, the common practice of non-replacement of lost plates, an unreliable motor vehicle database system and concerns on national security and crime.

It also has a bar code which contains vehicle details like the chassis number and the date of registry.
Standardized plate numbers in all new motor vehicles or those that will be registered for the first time will have a combination of three letters and four numbers, except for motorcycles that shall have two alphanumeric symbols and five numbers."

"When a vehicle owner renews the motor vehicle’s registration, he or she shall surrender the license plates for replacement. The new plates shall be released not later than 45 days after."

No matter where you are there will always be theft. The change is for the better and help reduce crimes. If theft and forgery was that easy then heck, your car will be gone the next time you look at it. It slows down crime. Plus its not that expensive to get them replaced as stated above so quit the whining.

korek! palit man gani ug tambutso (fart cannon) worth 5t nya ug P450 reklamo. toink!

fart cannon 110 up, 10 down
a large "N-1 style" muffler usually attached to vehicles. manufacturers usually claim it adds power to vehicles, however it may adversely affect performance of a vehicle due to lack of necesary backpressure in a vehicle's exhaust. The result of these mufflers is a high decible exhaust that makes the vehicle have less power at low rpms. usually purchased by people who think their vehicle is good when it is actually a pos. Fart canons are a major status symbol in the world of ricers, the louder your 20 horsepower import.... the cooler
