Default Integrated Intel GMA 950 VS. Separate Video Cards

    Hey guys!

I am planning to buy a motherboard which has an integrated graphics controller (GMA 950). I just wonder with its performance against the more powerful video cards. I've read the specs and it's quite interesting; can support up to 224 video memory.

Also, does anybody would like to share their expertise as to what kind of games that are suitable for this graphics controller? What are its limitations?

    Thanks!

ok baya ning gma 950 nga video. mu dagan baya cya og mga games like gta san andreas. i think mas ok pa gani iyang performance over geforce 4 mx series. i have also tried an intel board with x200 chipset but its not really better than gma 950. mu dagan btaw sya mga games nga full 3d pero grabe pud ka hinay. dili gyud ka malingaw plus mas gamay cya og score sa benchmark compared sa intel 945chipset. what ive observed with my mobo, ecs 945gm3 kay mas kusog siya mo boot without my geforce 6600 and one more thing that surprised me is that it consumes only 8mb (max amount that can be set in the bios for this mobo) of my 1 gig ram for the onboard video and that amount of shared memory is enough to run gta san andreas. if youre in budget and not into games with full 3d, this chipset will do the job. ok man pud unta nang x200 og nvdia 6100 nga built in pero sa akong expierence, mas paspas ang intel 945chipset ang performance if dili pang gaming.
