ATM Skimming is a REALITY!

Be careful when making withdrawals using ATM Machines... There have been instances of card skimming particularly this bank owned by a mall group. Two of my friends have experienced losing cash in their ATM and was told by the bank about skimming... Problem is, they still were not refunded until now.

make it a habit to cover the panel while typing your PIN. Shield your keys, even if you look paranoid doing it. Bisan na ug walay tao duol. Inconspicuously hidden cameras are essential for most skim to work, so cover those keystrokes.

Heads-up lang, though I dont think scam ni.

Just came from parkmall and bout some groceries sa Save More.
Tried to swipe my debit but gi reject sa machine so I paid in cash.
Good thing there was an ATM nearby then naka balance inquiry ko...to my suprise, nakwa-an siya so went back to the sales lady and they got someone from customer service involved. So happens that the cash transfer got 'stuck' on the cashier's machine daw and gi balik rasab sa card/account by the use of the same machine na gi swipe.
