Hello everyone,

I just created my account here few minutes ago.
As per the subject, I am worrying about my son (2 y/o) who had been diagnosed with CP.
Nakakaintindi po ako ng bisaya since my wife is from Dipolog City. We are both working here
in Dubai. Two of my son's pedia/neurologist gave the diagnosis. However due to some personal reasons
we have had decided to transfer my son from Manila to Dipolog City with my in-laws. I am looking for people
who knows someone with this kind of situation. Naghahanap po kami ngayon ng hospital o doctor na specialized
sa mga ganitong kaso. Nakapag-undergo na po siya ng MRI, EEG, AT BAER sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center sa Makati, at sa Philippine Childrens Medical Center sa Quezon City. Kung maaari po at kung may mairerecommend po
kayong hospital either from Cebu City or Cagayan ay tatanawin po naming malaking utang na loob. Ngayon palang po ay nagpapasalamat sa kami ng aking asawa sa mga magrereply. Maraming salamat po at more power sa forum / site po na ito.

maraming types ang cerebal palsy...
have your son assessed by a neurologist para malaman ang extent ng kanyang disability...may type na motor lang ang affected but is mentally normal...or not severely impaired and is capable to learn basic task and activities...don't be wary ts...try inquiring at Cebu Doctors or Velez...

p.s. your son may benefit from P.T. and O.T., depende sa assessment...

My classmate before in masters,
when she was young she had cp daw,
it took her months to rehab herself,
eventually it all paid off.
We never knew she had cp if she didn't tell us.
So keep your hopes up
My wife said, some cp are due to viral infection, it will heal in time.

Within this week kian will be having an appointment with Dr. Bael in Cebu Doctors.
