i work as an IT staff diri sa kuwait & professional opinion lang nako based on my experience. go for 4S.

pas2x ma-drain ang battery sa 4S? really? depende ra na sa pag-gamit nimo. i don't think it has anything to do with the processor. wala pa jud ko na-encounter or na experience to prove the point nga pas2x ma-drain ang 4s because of its proc.

i have an iph 4s & the only time nag-init ni siya is when i play infinity blade. labi na ang infinity blade 2. mo-init jud siya maayo.

dali ma-drain ang battery is when permi nag on ang wifi, bluetooth, 3G, location & notification. if d na nimo kelangan, dapat i-off jud siya. pwera nalang sa 3G coz permi na gamit nako.

each iphone, 4 & 4s batteries are designed for each logic board with specific voltage output

but if naa ka budget, pag iph 5 nalang.

PS: why mn tawn dili mn dawaton ang word nga "s p e c i a l i s t" diri sa istorya?

About the heating prob, i had the problem on my iP4 normally all the newest phones distributed by Apple has that problem
and their customer service won't even entertain it. The only solution is to revert the iPhone into the factory default settings. And for all the people complaining about the Battery life i bet they're turning on Siri even though they aren't even using it xD.

i also forgot to turn off siri sa 4S if wala gamita coz magsuck sad ni ug battery juice maski wala gamita.

dili man tanan naa heating issue sir. i have encountered certain iphones nga naa jud heating issue, most especially sa charger IC ky anha jud kasagaran ang heating issue nag originate.

masmaayo ipa-warranty na sa store asa nimo gibuy if naa pa warranty ang phone sir.

iPhone 4S jud boss. It has a faster processor, better camera, and its much newer model, so less likely ka maka kita og mga guba guba sa phone mismo.

depende ra gyud na sa usage ang battery drain...
disable lng ang mga features nga nagdagan sa background like wifi,bluetooth,siri, notification, etc...
ang heat issue normal rana sa phone labi na ug heavy games...and i agree tungod na sa processor mao ni init na..
ang kana mag hang, maybe tungod na sa daghan apps nagdagan sa background ..restarting your phone could sometimes help
