where can we report hospitals(private) who seems to be overpricing

Dudes, I have something to share with this piece of shit. My friend 29 yrs of age was admitted at the ****** hospital in Cebu. He was confined due to a jammed finger or let's say an inflamed finger with an infection (middle finger to be exact) brought by their basketball game. He was on pain and needs an immediate treatment. Guess what? He underwent a MAJOR operation with a surgeon, anesthesiologist, assistant surgeon just for that minor case. He didn't have fracture or dislocation as seen by X-rays. Imagine that? If I'm correct, that's only a minor operation. Basing on proper assessment, it can be intervened through I &D (Incision and Drainage) and some antibiotics. BTW, his bill reached up to P60K.. Good thing is that the company's health insurance covered his medical health costs.

ako nahibaw an d naman ka pwede mo buy sa dili accredited nga pharmacy nila kai ang ila rason daghan na daw nahappen nga FAke tambal ang ghatag nia madaot daw ang pasyente nia naa daw balaod ana nga d ka dapat mopalit sa gawas nga pharmacy nga dili sa hospital , REMINDER : if ma ospital mo always tell the nurse in charge nga kamo ra mopalit sa mga tambal or Dextrose and to make sure nig admit ninyo e remind balik ang nurse Station nga kamo mo buy sa mga palitonon , kai they charge 3x if sila mao mopalit og mukuha ana Sa pharmacy , naa pod na charge sa ninaog didto so mao na dako kaayu , imagine d5lr dextrose priced only 78 -110 but if sila mao mokuha ana moprexo na og 200+ mao na dako jud kaayu vary mao na bahala mag saka kanaog mo og naa paliton d lang mo ma overcharge , ako moduty ko hospital as a nurse always jud na nako ingnon ako patient nga kamo palit sa inyo tambal kai 3x ma save nig out nila magpasalamat jud na sila .....

if sikat na nga private hospital then di ka makapalit sa gawas.

naa may laing private hospital nga pwede.

although naay difference sa standards. pili lang ta.. depende rajud sa budget ug HMO.

ang problema lang kay naa say mamugos jud sa mahalon nga private hospitals maski klaro kaayo maglisod or di jud ka afford.
willing mo gasto ug 100k, nga pwede ra sa uban at 50k or even less.

i think dapat ni himoan ug balaod kining mga hospitals nga overpricing, naa sad uban if sa gawas ka mo palit ug tambal, ila gihapon butangan ug charge.

Sa CHONGHUA HOSPITAL ang XL DIAPERS nila tag PHp 90+ man cguro but if you buy it outside , tht PHp 40+ lang ( exact same brand ). Gikduha gyud hehehe .

Sa DTI kay product related man ni imo reklamo, pero basin ingnon lang pud ka nga "nganong adto man ka sa mahalon nga kahibalo na man ka nga mahal na ila presyo". Murag mahug lang sad ni sa wala kay ang atong balaud igo ra gyud na sa papel wala sa buhat, di ka dut labi na og dagku imo banggaon.

Situation is in Tagbilaran, Bohol but everything follows the same procedure nationwide man pod.

We (fellow hospital workers) had a problem with the management in our hospital (govt. regional hospital),
with no one to turn on to, mi adto mi sa DOH para mo complain.
But, ang DOH dili sila ka intervene daw sa amo hospital kay kuno independent siya kay tertiary, regional and training hospital siya.
So we argued why DOH can not intervene nga it is a government hospital man daw, DOH also claimed na self-supporting man gud daw amo hospital, mao our hospital is given autonomy, mao dili sila pwede maka intervene.

So back to the topic, where ta maka complain ana na mga hospitals? Sa DOH kay all hospitals are under the umbrella of DOH.
Now, if DOH can not intervene its own hospital (kana sa ako example), how much more sa private hospitals??

Same concept with what is going on sa DepEd. DepED can not directly intervene sa mga state universities kay mga autnomous ang state universities, much more DepEd can not directly intervene sa mga private schools and universities.

Hehe beter buy ur own medicines, supplies jud. For sure naa may dug ol na pharmacy, but buy pd sa dagko or kasaligan na pharmacy. Tinuod na mag base ang services/ charge sa acomodation basta private hosp. Tinuod ng mahal jud ang baligya sa hosp. Hehe

Palit lang ka tambal sa gawas sa hospital either any pharmacy nga barato2 ra. wala man pud ni require ang hospital nga adto jud ka papaliton nila. it's either ikaw jud moadto sa counter ug mapahibawo nila nga magpalit lang ka ug tambal sa gawas kon unsa man ilang resita. once gud nga way kay gitunol nga tambal nagpasabot nga adto ra na sila kuha sa ila then i charge na nila directly sa imong bill.
