"So you're telling me AMALAYER?! No ate! I'm not! Because AMADOVEGIRL and I love it!"
"So you're telling me AMALAYER?! No ate! I'm not! Because AMADOVEGIRL and I love it!"
The passenger claims the guard accosted her and asked, "Anong problema mo?". Asking someone what her problem is IS also not correct. Maybe that's what provoked the woman. I'm not saying it justifies things. I'm not saying that what she did was right. I don't approve of shouting at someone or berating someone in public. I just don't want people to forget that IT WAS A REACTION TO AN ACTION. It wasn't the most morally upright reaction but someone did something to her first. Let's just be fair.
You're comparing other incidents sa ining insidente ... but for the purpose of having a conversation , sakyan na lang nato ni .
Wa koy problema sa work ethic sa mga security guards dinha , they're one of the most underrated employees sa Philippine job market .
I'm not saying SAYOP sa LRT guard ang tibuok situation PERO you are all making this guard a HEROINE just based from that one-sided video . Kita ba ka sa video nga instead ang guard e diffuse ang situation , nakig lalis pud hinoon galing lang she displayed a limited body language mao na nga nahimo jud siya as someone nga gi daog2x sa eksena ... laban dayon ang mga Pinoys ana kay mao man na kasagaran eksena sa ilang paboritong telenovelas .
Ang conclusion sa investigation sa LRTA , nga she failed to place her purse sa x-ray so gi bira sa guard ang arm ni Ms "Amalayer" and then spouted side comments and facial expressions mao nga ming init ang ulo sa kontra-bida . I don't care kung kinsa ang sayop or sakto , wa koy labot .
It's just very sad nga mo jump ug conclusion dayon ning mga taw dinhi unya laban dayon sa taw nga ming portray as the bida nga gi daog2x like sa mga telenovelas .
I just don't get as to how my citizenship and living in Canada has to do with this . I don't care if I'm thinking like a typical "foreigner" because I'm just posting my honest opinion here in a balanced manner . If you want to track down my posts here you'll see that I'm not siding to anyone . I respect the right to a due process not judge the "rude" girl on an internet forum and inciting cyberbullying . Accuse me of anything you all want but that's not going to change my opinion just because the majority of the population here opposed to it .
Ok , are you REALLY that insecure when someone of a different nationality are criticizing and/or making fun of the Philippines and Filipinos ?! Gimme a break ... lol I don't care if other Canadians or anyone of a different nationality are making assumptions on things they see on TV or their thoughts of the country . Their personal stuff aren't my business to begin with and I respect their right to an opinion .
I know my rights are and I'm not afraid to stand up for myself when times that I have to do it ESPECIALLY alone . I applaud the Amalayer girl for standing for herself instead of acting like a weeping Judy Ann Santos in Esperanza that you guys would always love to see with delight .

The video is one-sided, judgmental and malicious.
@FAQ: Nah, I don't think you post like a foreigner you post like a pinoy ofw with superiority complex.
If you don't care that Canadians jump to conclusions when they view media, then why do you care that Pinoys also jump to conclusions? My point was that jumping to conclusions isn't restricted to us pinoys.

Aren't you also jumping to conclusions? The person who took the video might have only had the opportunity to take a video of the incident as it occurred since the girl was drawing attention to herself. To ascribe malicious intent would presume that the videotaker intentionally left out the prior scenes when what's more likely to be the case is that he/she only started recording when the girl started making a scene.
In any case I believe that true test of character is in how people deal with being offended by others. Some people laugh it off, but others react in a really embarrassing way like in this case. Being slighted is no excuse for acting the way she did. She couldve handled it much better and still got her point across.

Again , I'm just posting an opinion here . I'm not on a "witch hunt" for particular posters who are jumping into conclusions . My post was intended for a reply to someone here and I said people will side on whoever portrays as a protagonist similar to telenovelas and NEVER seek the whole truth despite the fact LRTA just disclosed their investigation for all to see . That's it . Then you on a moral high horse and making it a huge deal .
