Can you help me with this?

I just need to know the "BEST" recording studio here in Cebu.

I like to know the location, the price, set-up etc.

....or can you guys give me an idea of the locations of recording studios in CEBU?

Phoenix Glyde in La Paloma Village, Labangon. Galen's a great engineer to work with.

Zzubu found in Acacia St., Lahug Cebu City. Just bring a dozen Red Horse bottles for Poldo, the engineer, and you'd have a GREAT time recording with him.

Backyard Studios also in Lahug, Cebu City. Meet great musicians there and taste their great food too.

MediaTrack (formerly Starmaker Studios) in JM Basa St. has great equipment. I guess the owner there is still Mr. Doug Wells.

Backyard studio time price: P400 per hour both for tracking and mixing.

Its really cheap considering that the most successful cebuano releases have been recorded there!!!! (Urbandub's "Birth" and "Influence", Junior Kilat's "Party People Ur On Dub TV", All SRA compilations since 1999, even Harambe's "Catch A Fire" was mixed there, well it's just too damn many to mention...

Manila bands that have recorded at backyard:

Slapshock, Agaw Agimat, Virus Artists, etc..

Thank You very much @MeDiAtRaCk, well, I've been to Starmaker Studios when I had a session for an alternative band and recorded at the studio. I was not able to ask the price of the recording 'coz it was shouldered by the band's manager. Notwithstanding, "The Place is Great" and can you PM me the price for the Recording in hourly basis?

by the way, kung ganahan mo mo-take FULL ADVANTAGE of digital recording adto mo sa backyard kay, i think si mikmik (sound engineer) na ang recognized nga leader sa digital recording.. i heard that starmaker/media track has the best equipment around but i'd rather have mikmik as the sound engineer and producer... Here's a suggestion.. why don't you guys record at mediatrack and have it mixed at backyard??

By the way, what recording software/interface does mediatrack use anybody??
i wanted to record there before.. my band was offered to record there for free pero we just loved mikmik so much..

You know what, even if i were in a superstar band and was given a recording deal worth millions, i'd still have the guitar tracks recorded at backyard and have the entire thing mixed at backyard.... that's the extent of how i trust mikmik...
