@boss spring - Back in '09 I know there are Php50-150 restaurants (Andok's and Mang Inasal to name a few) around there, pero these are the usual crowded places. So in my own point of view, adding affordable places to eat (and fast) is beneficial for the local tourist. I agree with saving before travelling, but still, magpangita man jud gihapon ta og ways para maka-tipid at the same time enjoy the place. Yes, it is a tourist destination, but claiming the whole place as such and commercializing it is unfair. At least leave some for common Filipino tourist (my opinion only).

OT: I am guilty with your statement on Filipino Food outside the country LOL. Pero really I am sensitive when it comes to food (amoebiasis). I can take other cuisines, kung kabalo ko unsa nang pagkaona and obviously kung limpyo, pero naa lang juy dili makaya usahay.

It would also be unfair to say that when you go to Boracay you should be rich and loaded with cash but then knowing that it is a TOURIST DESTINATION , one should consider also to be prepared to travel. If ang dungog nato is suroy ta ug Boracay aron daghan ta pics sa FB right next to the sculpted whitesand then atong budget sa food is pang carinderia , something is really wrong. I have been travelling to places all over the world and sadly mismo sa Boracay na atoa ra jud wala pa and you would really know if the price are for tourist or for the locals.

Thats how you will know when to budget. Back to Boracay , you go there as a tourist , act and spend one like a tourist . Otherwise , wala gani ta ana na budget , I am sure, the locals has somethig to offer jud somewhere in the outskirts of the " beach " area. Mura gud na ug Mactan , lahi ang presyo sulod sa resort , but kaon mo sa gawas , mas lami pa and way way cheaper.

    OT :

I just came back from Rome, it reminds me of a lot of Filipinos and Cebuanos to be specific because of the canonization. Naa ra ta didto for about a week or sobut then what I dont get is , ilahang gipangita man nuon are FILIPINO FOOD ! Although nothing is wrong with that , one should consider also that to enjoy the place, take something what the locals have to offer and it doesnt have to be expensive either. Relating to Boracay , I dont know if Aklan has something to offer but I am pretty sure , its one sure way to enjoy the place. I just dont agree sa shakes na tag PHp 180 though kay tag PHp 45 ra man na sa Thirsty di ba hehehe .
Confused people bya kuno ta boss. Hehe

Kung naa sa Pinas mangita ug imported, kung naa sa abroad mangita ug buwad ug suka.

That is also one problem sa mga lugar na hyped kaayo.

One of the very reasons why wala ko nagka interest jud adto sa Boracay becuse of being so hyped and then the actual locals themselves took advantage of it. We can really understand man pod na ang lugar ngano mahal but knowing now na SUPER MAHAL jud diay ang Boracay , I now prefer to stay in Cebu .We have a lot of better beaches to offer. Some are even untouched hehehe.

I agree , but being an operator also , di gyud malikayan na mo taga gyud ug sakto ni sila. They dont care about the locals , their market are the foreigners and that is the sad truth.

    OT :

Maybe you are talking about the EXOTICS hehehehe . Daghan baya food available na di exotic . Like kita buhong kaayo sa PIZZA diri sa Cebu but these are only commercialized and westernized baga. Authentic is really adventurous kaayo i venture and getting sick by FBI , depende gyud na sa kinsay ga prepare regardless of what cuisine it is.
