doraexplorer, we are not the same person. People of same ideas are growing in numbers. Gradually, people now are starting to get insight regarding the corrupt organized system by the pharma and medical profession as a whole.

The victims are not only the patients and common juan like me, but also some naive and compassionate doctors.

ang makasapot nako about aning mga doctors kay kanang mangita ka ug second opinion nga mo.contradict sa first.. ambot lang kung opinion ba ghapon tawag ana nga unta lisensyado man sila... then ang burden mobalik sa patient na unta nagpaconsulta man gani kay sila ang nakahibaw yet lain2x ang ilang opinion/findings/prognosis...i dont know unsa gamiton... although i agree lain2x sad ang mga condition sa patients and daghan jud ang bantayan sa lawas sa usa ka taw.. pero atleast man lang since parehas maning mga doctors nga ni board... dapat lang unta parehas lang sad unta sila ug findings/opinion.... dili kay ang usa mo.ingon operahan.. and usa mo.ana nga dili ra unya kinabuhi ang atong ghisgutan... dili makina...the sad part is mao jud na kasagaran nahitabo karon.... labi na mo involve ug operation halos tanan mangita jud ug second opinion..dapat unta kay mao mana ilang gpili na field then dili jud ingon ana unta ka laau ilang findings... kung mo differ man gani dili sad nang ingon ana ka grabeh oi... daghan ko mahatag na example ani... pero ayaw nalang... pero ang pinakalo.oy jud ang patient... kung mamatay mo.ana nalang na panahon na jud to niya... usahay makadungog ka maau pa wala operahi with matching mahay...basul dayon sa doctor nga ni opera... sahay sad maau pa gpa.operahan buhi pa unta basul dayon sa doctor nga wala mosugot nga pa operahan... to prevent sa mga situation nga ingon ani bah.... dapat dili ingon ana ka lagyo kung mangita man gani ug second opinion... kay kung ingon ani... managhap nalang diay ta ug tarong na doctor ani... or mangita ta ug 3rd or more na doctor then kung kinsa tong daghan nga ni agree maoy sundon...

Sir in fairness to the doctors....every doctor has His/Her own opinion or approach to case even if both are of the same specialty or came from the same school. The theory they know about the case is the same but the approach is different. It would depend in what each thinks is effective according to His/Her practice experience in the field.

It would be unfair to call doctors dumb. The countless sleepless nights, practice, conferences and other trainings they do to improve their knowledge on their profession would certainly make them a little less dumb than how you perceive them to be.
When you get sick and hospitalized (simbako lang, di sa pag panungo), I bet you makalimot na ka ani imung gipamutang diri and would thank your doctors when you're well.

You know Bro, i know a lot of stories that are true and reality that is happening to Cebu Doctors and I am not in any relation to the thread starter. ...... you know bro ... I'm posting based on my experience with the Doctors...

Its true that Doctors in Cebu are knowledgeable to based on the past on what they graduated
and they did NOT renew their knowledge to the New findings and trends to today world of medicine.

I think the Licenses for Doctor should be RENEW by the Gov't every year
to prove their capabilities of curing patients.

If only You have said some doctors are inexperienced w/out singling out CEBUANO DOCTORS, then everybody would have agreed with you. I myself have experienced being treated by " way klaro na mga doctor" but I have the wisdom to know that it's not because they are Cebuanos Mao wa to cla klaro na mga doctor. Likewise, I have heard of HORROR STORIES against Doctors in Manila but I do not discriminate them as inexperienced/substandard because Its not about the race or ethnicity at all. Wala Lang gyud klaro na doctor period you do not have to put the race or ethnicity of the doctor. I am against ethnic/racial discrimination. Just like how the Philippines reacted yrs ago against a US show Desperate Housewives wherein there was a scene that a patient said something like "I JUST HOPE YOU'RE NOT SOME DOCTOR FROM A MEDICAL SCHOOL in the PHILS" something like that.

---Bro, nag paila Lang jud ka na wala Kay alam regarding what doctors do. Your statement they did not renew their knowledge to the new findings and trends Kay FALSE na. Every week, maybe 2 to 3 times a week,wala pa na labot sa mga conference and seminar mag meet gyud na sila tanan. Like example mga pediatrician, naa na cla schedule na mag meeting na cla tanan para e-discuss unsa na mga unusual na mga sakit ila na encounter, how they treated it, update unsa new trends, new findings, new technology, etc. and Mao bitaw mu attend na cla sa mga conferences anywhere in the PHils and anywhere in the world para ma update.

---unsa na license bro imu pasabot? PRC? Aw pwede mana every year mu renew, Pero Kung Mao sad nang storya-a dapat ang tanan profession every year nasad mu take para fair. Dapat ang engineer,teacher,lawyer,etc sad.
But I doubt that renewing their licenses every year would be sufficient enough to JUST PROVE their capabilities Kay renewing a PRC license doesn't require a doctor to take the exam. Besides even if PRC requires them to take exams, sayon ra Kaayo na para nila ang written exams. Kung mag require ang gobyerno ug practical/actual exam, naa ba kahay mo volunteer na pasyente mag pa experiment/trial and error?

sir, doctors go through hell and back just to be able to get that MD degree. not just physically but mentally and emotionally. they juggle big books and squeeze in time to study in the middle of their duties while monitoring and caring for patients.

after that... they still have to hurdle the big books and all to be able to pass the board exams. as for their contiuing educations.... they have seminars and conferences in order to garner CME (contiuing medical education) points to update themselves. . . their learning never stops.

--- bro, your title doesn't fit as to the message you are trying to convey. If I'm correct, the zest of your thread is that you are promoting alternative medicine, am I right? Nothing wrong with that, as I myself, I am avoiding as much as possible meds from those pharmaceutical companies. But it is also not right to call DOCTORS as DUMB JUST TO PROVE your point and JUST TO POPULARIZE YOUR THREAD/just to make your thread title catchy.
