nindot ba? compared to bantayan?
I been to malapascua and bantayan, mas nindot sa bantayan, but kung diving trip nimo mas nindot daw sa malapascua
I was trying the search button pero under stress daw ang server.
My cousin from US would like to know how to go to Malapascua Island, how much will the budget & any other expenses.
Thank you very much for the information.
take a bus from north bus terminal.. kanang naay Maya na signboard.. Port na cya nearest to Malapascua Island, then you take a BOat goin to Malapascua..
pila budget padung bantayay island? asa gani ni agi.on? hehehe!!
Ive been to Malapascua several times...and it has always been perfect for me.
The island is small, accessible only by an outrigger boat. Get yourself to Maya then get on the public boat which costs
around P25/person..price has probably increased by now. when you get there, pick a resort that will fall within your budget.
Take your time and go around the island...its rough yet very charming...romantic and adventure filled at the same time. Up to
you how you want spend your holiday.
Things to do in Malapascua. RELAX! Fall in love! If you dive, then your up for a treat. Thresher sharks are spotted daily, mantas, white tips, and several wrecks. Dive sites: Gato Island, Lapus, Lighthouse, chocolate island..these are most popular. I dive and the last time I was there, I had all my gear with me....but, the romantic island called me to something else. So, as I said..up to you how you want to spend your time in the island. Like boracay, there are alot of parties in the island as well (if this is your thing)...you just have to be there on a peak season like any other place of this sort, filled with backpackers. Lots of small restaurants owned by expats and locals, of course the booze places are there too. just make sure not to get your picture on the wall of shame. tsk tsk tsk ive seen too many wasted pictures.
The nights are glorious. Yes the stars do shine bright as there is no electricity in the island. Most of the resorts run on generator. Thats the fun part...the evening sky illuminates your romantic stroll on the glowing white sand while you hear the rhythmic lapping of the waves. hahaha Just be careful, ive stumbled upon drunks lying on the sand beside panting dogs. hehehe Not a very pretty sight. Oh and I almost beheaded the caretaker one night when he fell asleep and forgot to put gas on the generator..no light/no aircon for 2 hours. I chose not to let it get to me and wise choice it was...we fell asleep under the moonlight, you dont get that experience in a 5star resort hehehe (i hope)...while the caretaker climbed back on the billiard table hehehe. Oh well.
All in all, Id recommend a visit to Malapascua before it loses its virgin charm. Its gaining popularity abroad, specially for backpackers. Its been likened to the beaches of thailand, so why go to thailand when you can get yourself to a place you can call your own.
Enjoy!
How about the balod ig padong didto? dagko man kuno.![]()
