I've been reading all the comments from this thread.. Very inspiring kaayo... Bag-O rako na diagnosed na naa koy Psoriasis. pag-ingon sa doctor na naa koy Psoriasis mura rako ug wala ra.. Dedma... But as time passed by, mura ko ug mabuang..cgi ug huna2x... so worried if unsa ang pagtan-aw sa mga taw nko.. Conscious kaayo ko everytime ang akong kastorya kay mutan-aw sa akong forehead. BUT! when I started reading the comments sa kani nga thread na encourage ko to accept the fact na naa gyud koy Psoriasis, no matter what I do naa na gyud ni nko. If naa man gani cure ani mas maayo para ma heal natang tanan but as of now based sa akong nabasa the best thing to control Psoriasis is to avoid stress. Although stressful kaayo akong trabaho. I know na ma manage rani nko and I know sad that God will never leave me. I'm so thankful na nakabasa ko ani nga thread kay dako kaayo ni ug tabang para masabtan nko akong abnormalities. hahahaha!! Thanks to all people na ni comment.. I know understand ngano naa ni siya nko.. Everything has a purpose and all you need to do is to seek for it and accept na ingana gyud ang life.. Let us all live our lives free from all the pain, agony and denial... Lets face it..

    hahaha...
so, mga patients...kumusta na man ang inyong mga psoriasis lessions?
i dont believe in testimonies...I need medical/scientific explanation before I try what we recommend here. hehehe
And, FDA or our skin doctors must approve it.

Skin doctors aka Dermatologists I met have their own preparation or if it doesnt work on you, they recommend drugs prepared by drug companies. I tried ionil-T, T-Gel neutrogena, selsun blue, nizoral, head and shoulders, dermatologist preparations, aloe vera plant/leaves, calamansi...on my scalp. They do work but for a few days only. mobalik ra gihapon ang mga flakes sa akong ulo...hehehe Then I realized, If I dont use them or shampoo my hair 1x every 3days murag mokalma ang flakes...having a clean cut hair style also helped in controlling the flakes. well, for my skin, the lessions are controlled by Daivonex or Daivobet. they have steroids so I dont like to use them as often as the doctor recommend hehehe. they do manage the redness/swelling/flaring of the lessions.

karon lang bag-o naka notice ko nga if i exercise regularly(at least 4x a week)...kanang magtulo-tulo gyud ang singot nga murag naligo na ko nangawala ang flakes and lessions.

So they key to controlling psoriasis:
    - avoid stress.
    - exercise regularly.
    - avoid scratching the lessions to prevent infections/complications.
    - always get enough sleep.
    - read and be informed always.
    - lots of good luck.

    hehe

this is probably what you want boss, a clinical study. golden standard nga clinical study (ask any doctors you know what this study means). you can just google the science about glutathione para dili bias if gikan nako. this is fda approve pud ky dili ni kasulod sa pinas if not approved. rarely raka makadungog ug doctor nga morecommend ug food supplement. remember, they are trained by drug companies so drugs ra gyud ilang irecommend.

Lisud gyud kaayo basta naay Psoriasis oi.. I mean mura ka ug hinay ug patay sa imong mental stress.. Grabe kaayo akong mental stress kay feel nko kay I will lose everything.. The best people you go with is you family. Sometimes makahilak ko tungod kay subo kaayo ko but I have no choice but to accept na ingani ko. I want to be free from all the pain and anxiety. I hope exercise can help..kabantay ko na if mag-walking ko kay murag mugaan akong paminaw.. Also sa akong experience, survival of the fittest gyud ni..dili fit na physically fit but fit ang imong faith na makaya nmo tanan challenges in life. Dili gyud lalim na naay ingani.. It feels like dili ka normal na taw but Its my choice to live a normal life. hehehe...I will be strong no matter what happened. I might lose everything but not my faith and myself.

I've heard about Humira and Enbrel. Both are approved by the FDA for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis (and other conditions). Both are injections.

My psoriasis was misdiagnosed as ringworm by my regular doctor and prescribed me some antifungal cream. When that didn't work I went to a dermatologist and he told me to get another regular doctor cuz that's no ringworm that's psoriasis. I have mild/moderate psoriasis so the dermatologist prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide. Its kept my psoriasis under control along with keeping the affected area moisturized (prevents it from itching and dryness). I use petroleum based ointments (Vaseline or Aquaphor) almost constantly.
