I am planning to develop my own website just for fun its a simple but elegant. My questions your suggestion..
Since I Do have an entry background of these J2EE, JSP, CSS, HTML, PHP, MYSQL Do I have to go into bottom knowledge so that i can develop my own site or I just do the canned goods site, ready made templates, wordpress etc. or say drag and click. Please site your experience and examples. Thank you very much your replies are appreciated and surely illuminating.

y blema.. pls elaborate daw naka try nako sa mga free domain and hosting mga .tk..pls elaborate daw sa advantage if mopalit nata og domain gyud and tagpila?

.TK nga domain free cya but you do not own the domain. .TK said that you need to have at least 90 unique visitors every months. Basaha lng ang Terms sa .TK for the complete details.

I suggest you pursue on Wordpress since you have a background in PHP/MySQL/CSS/HTML. There are canned goods templates for Wordpress. If you have the said skills, you can modify the template piece by piece. And onces you're getting used to it, you can create your own template from scratch ^_^ Hope this helps.
