Hi guys

I manage to get my hands on this new cherry mobile flagship smartphone.... And so far its a very decent phablet..

- 5" inch screen 213 ppi
- 5 point capacitive touch
- mediatek 1.2ghz dual-core proc
- 2gb rom and 512 ram
- A-GPS

Comparing this phone to the much anticipated myphone a919 this is more powerful and cheaper its around 1k cheaper than myphone's flagship.

PROs:
-PHP6,499 price tag
-Dual-core processor
-Dual-sim
-Above average touch sensitivity
- backcase with built-in flip cover
-4.0.4 ICS OS
-Flash compatible
-Non skinned Android
-Not too much preinstalled apps

CONs:
-Despite the 2250mah battery only 5hour of hard usage otherwise you should be able to get through the day if used normally
-Weight!! Its as heavy as a rock.
-Screen resolution.... If your looking for something deeper and sharper in contrast better get the little brother of this phone the cherry mobile flare
-Fingerprint magnet backcase

OVERALL:
For the price of an entry level Samsung or Lg phone you get this massive screen and dual-core.. Its great value for money, did a quadrant benchmark and its on par with Samsung galaxy nexus... If your in to big screen and have a limited budget, I suggest grabing one now cause i know cherry Cebu has limited stocks.... But if your not to keen on phablet then you can save around 2k by going with the 4" Cherry mobile flare same specs apart from the screen size...









ROOT PROCEDURE:

Disclaimer: Rooting is a procedure that will void your warranty and may possibly brick you device incase procedure is not done properly - Proceed with caution

Files Needed:
SuperOneClickv2.3.1-ShortFuse.zip - SuperOneClick V2.3.1
Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v15.7z - Root ABD with CMW Recovery

Step 1: Enable Debugging on your device (Go to Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging)
Step 2: Connect your Device to the PC using USB Cable
Step 3: Unzip and start SuperOneClick. (It will ask you to install drivers, Confirming that will install the drivers for the device)
Step 4: Close SuperOneClick. (It was only required to install the device drivers)
Step 5: After installation of the drivers your device should now be visible on device manager as seen Below

Step 6: Unzip Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v15.7z
Step 7: Double Click/Run runme.bat (It should open a command prompt screen with green text)
Step 8: The initial screen should ask you the device type just enter "1". Follow the instructions in the command prompt there after.
Step 9: During the process, you will be asked to click restore on you device, after which, you device should reboot. The command prompt should now resemble the image below:

Yes... Smooth ra iyang animation ang everything in general... No lag what so ever... Keep in mind im very mindful of what i instal since i know that 512 ra ang ram... The more process running in the background the more likely you will see hicups...

Camera is not the best quality if im honest but its not the worst sad... Lets say its average in terms of quality, the flash however is good..

@inc-pankz: YES cherry mobile kiosk in SM but they only had 5 units.... When I was there 3 were purchased including mine... as for the Flare, manila pah available... mga next week naa cebu
