actually money is really not the issue para sa ako ky I know na kaya ra nako eh finance ang business labi na im not planning to start it in a big scale right away. ang habol nako sa mga potential investors/partners ky ang experience, knowledge and above all ang network nila sa industry na im planning to venture into. The thing is, I did not have any proper education sa business ky pwerte ka layo sa ingani na field akng profession. pero ever since hilig najud ko ug business ky I grew up in our family business and katong college ko sige nako ug read ug business books, reports ug uban pa and right after I graduated sa college, nag start daun ko ug mga small businesses while I was in medical school. all of my businesses were doing really well and medschool was good too but then ni abot akng residency visa sa canada and I have to choose between medschool along with my businesses or my residency status in canada. my friends and family told me to choose canada ky ang medschool and business ma padayun raman nako diri while ang residency status nako ky lisod na kaayo ma ilisan...I work as a marketing mgr here as of now pero sa 1 year+ nako na puyo diri wala pajud ko na close na as passionate as me sa business or mag business ky akng mga ka edad diri lahi pa ila mga trip.. so need jud nako mo duol ug mga medyo naa najud experience.. mao na akng situation diri ron.. LOL! salamat ninyo ha!
Bro, I experienced the same thing... I'm torn between my career and my passion with my business.. I ended up quitting my career and started my business idea. It's a matter of how you manage things. It might be a hard and long journey but it's fulfilling at the end knowing that you have accomplished something. For you, I suggest that you trust your instinct. Go where you really believe that you will be happy. Don't rely on what others say. At the end of the day you are living your life not them.

And oh, having your own business doesn't require you to have a degree in business.... all it need is passion.

If you really have a unique business idea, go to the website of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines and then apply for a patent for your idea.

TSyou have to reduce your idea into something tangible to have it registered and protected. enhacing an "idea" may be legal provided some other person made significant changes to the first idea.

dapat naa kay secreto or technique nga di nimo angay masulti sa mga investors. Well dependi ug unsa nga clase imong businees.
Tanang business pwedi man ma copya like for example sa carenderia but the taste is different gud. If dili food imong business dapat
naay kay pamaagi nga secreto ra sa uban especially to your investors...

Pwedi pud imong mga investors dapat igsuon nimo or suod kaayo nimo nga amigo nga kasaligan gud..

you can't actually 'patent' your idea. the law does not protect ideas. what it does protect, however, is how you present or express your idea.

good luck with your future plans sir!

naa ka right to protect sa imo idea once na gibuhat na nimo like for example gi state na nimo sa manual sa inyo business. e.g. kanang ingredients sa imo food. kana, mka fight ka ana pero taas pa kau na na process kay you hav to prove paman na ni copy cla..

    1- patent your business
    2. trademark your logos, words and images
    3. Hide your trade secret. If you have a formula that needs to be kept secret, the best way to do so is to not tell very many people.

If you need to some investors, don't lay all your cars on the table. If and ever, makita nila ang potential definitely they will dig deepper, but still it doesn't mean nga imu ihatag tanan ang ideas. As to copying it, i think halos tanan nga business diri kay naay similarities, its just u need to think innovative ways as to how to present it and know your market.
